OK, I just HAD to do a 'foot post'.. Sorry, I can't help it! LOL
I LOVE giving pedicures. Well let me qualify that a bit, I DON'T like triming toenails, filing, scrapping off calouses etc. but I DO love painting those lovely little tootsies and of course giving killer foot massages. As a kind of followup to this post Nudisim, I wanted to talk about 'body image' a bit.
In one of the comments to that post, someone mentioned body image and specifically, female body image and how that sometimes keeps a LOT of you gals from going to nudist camps, getting naked in general etc etc etc.

Well, it looks like Ol Tazzerman will be heading to India sometime in either late August or early September for a business trip. This will be the second time I've been there, the first being way back in the early '80's. It will be interesting to see the changes over the past number of years. I'll more than likely fly into Mumbai and then onto Banglore from there.
The upcoming trip got me to thinking about ALL the places I've been around this world and more to the point, which places are my favorites.
I've had the privledge of visiting a number of really cool places, both in the US and abroad and some stick out in my memory for various reasons. In no particular order:
Big Sur California. I just LOVE Big Sur. There's a little hotel/bar just north of the Bixby bridge which has a wonderful deck overlooking the Pacific and the moutains which, well to be honest, I could die a happy man sitting there with a loved companion and a good glass of wine.
Barcelona Spain. This has GOT to be one of my all time favorite party places. The people are increidlbe the scenery and architecture is awesome and the Tapas bars are just increidkble. I've been there twice and I can't WAIT to go back again.
Paris France. Is there any better place to be than in a lovely sidewalk cafe in Paris? The food, the wine the whole scene is just absolutely wonderful as LONG as you don't act like a typical American tourist
Just about any place in the Caribbean. I just LOVE the Britsh Virgin islands and St. Maarten has always held a special place in my heart. I also love the Turks/Caicos but mainly because I have a good friend who owns the most incredible beach house there!
Cabo.. The combo of sun and sand is just incredible. Not to mention the place we stayed was just over the top luxurious.
Captiva Fla. I just love Captiva. When I started going there we stayed at the South Seas but eventually found a really incredible beach house that we just LOVED!
Bermuda. I've been there twice, both times where business related trips (ie, nice fat expense account) which is exactly what you NEED there
Israel/Gulf of Aqaba. What an incredible place to tour. From north to south and everything in between. History comes alive for sure. I also lived in Israel for 2 years back in the '70's. Yes, I did the Kibbutz 'thing' LOL
Napa... What can I say, I LOVE wine and my brother in-law as his own vineyard there! LOL
Prague.. What an incredible city! Take a GOOD camera with you.
My own patio/backyard. Ah, as Dorthy said so well, there's NO place like home!
