I see a lot or profiles that filter out messages if they don't meet "selected" things the person is looking for. One of these things is a Confirm Id. I looked at this. To sign up for this, they want a copy of your DL, State Id, or Passport. I would like to know, who in their right mind, would send a copy of this stuff to someone? In an age of stolen identity, you are just asking for trouble if you do this. Just my opinion, but it seems like folks that want a confirm id before they will look at your message are only asking us to give up our identity to anyone out there. With the information they ask for, you could do anything with it. Just my opinion of course. Any one else's thoughts????

Just don't understand

I just don't understand why Gold and Silver members on this site can't reply to your email to them even if they are not interested. Some say it is a "time issue" thing. But, they have the time to view your profile after you contact them. This site even has "quick replies" to say "thanks, but no thanks". Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I believe when someone contacts you, the least you can do is reply if you are able to. Makes me wonder if some of these folks are even real. I had a non-paying member give me her email address and ask me to contact her. All of a sudden, her profile is turned off and I have not even heard back from the email I sent to her regular email. I just guess I don't understand people anymore.

Reading profiles

I'm wondering how folks on this site can look at a profile and decide if that person is worth getting to know. Most of the profiles don't say a whole lot and some it seems you need to read between the lines on. Are folks really able to tell anything about a person based on what is in their profile? I myself look to see if we might have anything in common or are looking for the same types of things. Just wondering how the rest of you choose who you communincate (or not communicate) with.

Age Differences

Just wanted to get an opinion of what people think of age differences. I see profiles where the age is the same as mine, but the profile doesn't match for age. Their profile doesn't list what ages (most of the time) as to what they are looking for either. Then again, you see some profiles where the age difference is 15 or more years and it matches on the profile. But, when you contact them, they say there is too much of an age difference. Do you folks find that the profile is a flaw with HotMatch.com or that when folks fill out their profile, they don't check an age range they are looking for causing the discrepency? Ok, so I'm rambling. Just wondering.
