Why does everyone always say "I'm sorry to hear that" or "thats a shame" when you tell them you've separated or are getting divorce? ESPECIALLY the ones that know how miserable you may have been in said collapsing relationship?
Shouldn't those people especially say congrats or something positive like "finally got rid of that bitch/bastard"?
I never have understood this and now that I'm going through it myself I find I get easily agitated at this statement.
So I've recently been asked to start a softball team for my workplace. Is it bad that I don't want to do that because most of the people I work with I can't stand and wouldn't want them around me on off-hours? Or should I just suck it up and organize the damn thing so it looks better to management when I go for promotion again?
Alright, I wear a uniform to work (If anyone knows what my handle means you can pretty much envision the uniform). How accurate is the whole "women love a man in uniform" belief. Guys if you wanna share an experience where the uniform helped you further a meeting or women if you can explain it or share your own story that may finally put the rumor to rest in my own mind at least.
