Since I was eight years old, high heel sandals have always made me sit up and take notice. I discreetly scope them out every chance I get, in person or online. Single for a Year

This May 29 is the first anniversary of my ex breaking up with me. It was the worst breakup ever. Since then, she's had three boyfriends, the most current of whom is now shacked up with her. The first three or four months were the worst, but I survived. I still think of her and kind of wish it had worked out, but what's the point?
Once in awhile we message each other on Facebook, where she and her new boyfriend have declared their love relationship and added pix of them cuddling and kissing. I blocked him and almost unfriended her. In the last couple of months, we hardly communicate, and even then it's Facebok Messenger. She now Pokes me multiple times a day, and lately, I've waited usually a bit longer to Poke back. I might not Poke her again until Memorial Day or Eve.
The realization that there's a guy sharing her bed every night that I used to share with her, even when she was in between boyfriends, is kind of surreal. I hope her 11-year-old has no problem with him, or she'll be single again soon. She might be anyhow. More later.

Wednesday before last, my latest girlfriend came over in tears and dumped me. She said she knew I tried hard to deal with her Apsergers 's issues but that I just wasn't strong enough. Don't get me wrong, he became very attached to me. She said she'd been thinking about leaving me over this for a couple of weeks. A few days later she tells me that by then she started seeing another guy. She told me she'd always loved me but that we'd never get back together. It's been so hurtful since the breakup. She tells me to give it time.
I don't know if or when I'll open myself up again.Only time will tell. I don't think neither of us have had a very long relationship with anyone. Seems the more wonderful the relationship, the worse the heartbreak when it ends. At least now I can have some fun without cheating on anyone, though!

Some of us who love karaoke will try out pretty much any karaoke venue in town. Me and some of my friends sometimes go to two local gay bars that have karaoke, regardless that we're straight. Many of the clientele are supportive and have a love of life. On one trip to a gay bar for karaoke, a friend of mine told me that one of the transgender guys who lives as a woman told him hi in a flirty, soft voice. In fact, I saw the TG on a later trip go up to my friend and tell him (s)he was leaving. Last night, the same TG came to the gay bar where we did karaoke. He asked my friend how he'd been, and he got real close, as if they were gonna kiss.
On the way home, my friend told me that he still considered himself straight, but we agreed that some drag queens and transgenders did look hot, as long as they were feminine. Haven't seen her in three decades

This seekend, I went with three relatives to a wedding in my dad's side of the family. Some of the attendees were people I hadn't seen in anywhere from 17 to 29 years. One, I met in the mid-'70s. She's related to the wife of one of one of my uncles, and I always remember what a sweet girl she was. Well, there she was at the wedding! Couldn't believe it. Hardly recognized her. Some of the testimonials make me laugh out loud. Like these guys who talk about the female member's skills. Or about how they're gonna fuck her again. Of course, we know the testimonials have to be approved by the recipient, so that gives us an insight into the recipient's standards.
