No, really. Cook. I would love to be able to cook for a number of women here. I like planning and shopping and preparing meals. I would love to impress you and please you. I love to read a recipe once and wing it from there. I wish I could make a fuss over you.

Recently I have been seeing a new security screening to log on to HotMatch.com. Every third or fourth time I attempt to log in, just after having typed in my user name and password, I am shown a grid of 20 or so little images. There is a caption asking to click on the images that have a certain content such as cars or street signs or store fronts. After selecting the images that have the named content I have to click on a verify button. Is everyone seeing this or am I just hallucinating?

Have you noticed that HotMatch.com is like Data from Star Trek next generation? It seems portions of the site are incapable of using contractions. I've noticed that text can get distorted in status posts if you use apostrophes.

One of the little games I play in my mind (or mind games I play in my little brain) is wondering who I'd pick. I think of all the women I know in the real and virtual realms. I imagine that I can be with any of them, just for the asking. But only one. Who would I choose? Would it be someone I've been with and enjoyed because I know we would have a great time? Would it be someone I've never met face to face but have been infatuated with because of their writing and pictures? Would it be someone I've met but not been with intimately? This game also plays through my mind looking around many gatherings: parties, meetings, performances, classes (blush). I find it easy to amuse myself.

In terms of what we desire throughout the average day we wish for coffee slightly less than sex and a bit more than alcohol. When things get stressful coffee is a good idea for women but not for men. Coffee has also been shown to reduce depression in women. Pregnant women definitely should not drink it. (Alcohol — in modest amounts — during pregnancy can actually be a good thing.)
Coffee and cigarettes make you smarter but lung cancer sucks so better stick to coffee and donuts, another combo which boosts brainpower. The caffeine and glucose one-two punch can work in many forms, actually: Red Bull boosts cognitive performance too. Just looking at Red Bull can be an enhancer.
Coffee helped produce some of the great works of literature: ask Balzac. Then again, if you want to be creative maybe you don’t need more coffee: you’re more creative when you’re exhausted. Or maybe you want to drink something else: you’re more creative when you’re drunk too. (Adding Red Bull to Vodka doesn’t make you function better but it will make you think you do.) To make sure you’re productive after a nap drink a cup of coffee right before laying down. (Caffeine takes about 20-30 minutes to kick in.) This is your brain on coffee.

I've been using a Kindle for a few years now. I still love actual books but the convenience of electronic is great. I head off for a week of camping or a business trip and I always have a bunch of books at my finger tips.
I just started making use of borrowing electronic books from the public library. I'm in the middle of Wild by Cheryl Strayed. Fascinating. It was made into a movie with Reese Witherspoon.

I've had several women mention they use kik. What do you know and think? Is it safe to have on my phone? Can I mute incoming messages, presuming I would get any? Does it allow discretion should someone else pick up my phone?

I am greatly enjoying the book Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. If you enjoyed pop culture in the 80's you might get a kick out of it. It is also an exciting adventure story.
