50 years ago today would've been the third day of the Woodstock Festival.
The first band to that day was the . They started playing around 5:00am.
The last band was Jimi Hendrix. Due several delays, they eventually played on a Monday morning considered the forth day. By this time most of the audience had already left.
What memories - History was made.
Thinking next post will be on Record stores or Music Instrument stores.

Okay - So Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow I'm going to at least mention the Woodstock event that took place in 1969.
I really wanted to go. When asking my folks if I could go they said absolutely not. You're to young... The things you remember.
In my first 20 years of working. I spent my time working at various Recording Studios in NYC, NJ and the DC area.
My first gig was at a Recording Studio on West 57th St in NYC. Two of the guys that invested in the studio were also the two that invested in the Woodstock Festival (John Roberts & Joel Rosenman).
Today would've been the second day of Woodstock.

This week I've been watching hours upon hours of the Woodstock '69 footage.
For me it's a Hippie Chick week. PEACE!
What was a rainy day yesterday ...today is starting off to be a beautiful Summer day here at the Jersey Shore. Seems like no rain in the near future for the next five days, Let's hope.

Good morning...
10 years ago I was still living in the DC / Northern VA area.
Throughout the late 80's and all of the 90's I was active in the music scene with some of the clubs and coffee houses in the city.
My two favorite place's were...
The Bayou in Georgetown
The 9:30 Club off of F Street
Always networking with musicians who lived in the DC area.
These days it's all fond memories.
With Woodstock '69 being fifty years old this week. Expect another post
(maybe tomorrow morning).

Rainy Evening On The Boards

Spent most of the afternoon and evening hours inside.
Around 9:30 this evening I thought I'd bring the Nikon and take a few shots. It's still raining, but lightly.
Seems be a few people walking around.

Okay ...so the mailman & I were talking today.
He mentioned on how he delivers very few magazines these days except for my house.
I still enjoy reading cover to cover on many magazines, along with ordering clothes from a handful of catalogs.
Yes, I do read and order a lot on line... but not everything.

Temps in the mid 80's. Mostly Sunny
Isolated Thunderstorms.
Nice walking on the beach this morning.

So hard to believe Woodstock is now almost 50 years old.
Still having the original brochure.
also a copy of this book was written two investors invested in the concert along with a recording studio I was working at in NYC.

Before living in Atlantic City. I was living in Northern VA just outside of DC.
For those that know the DC area, My home was 5 minutes off Rt 495 the DC beltway. Talking about traffic...
I gave that up in 2011 and moved to the Jersey Shore. My home here is off the boardwalk and backs up to the beach.
Great place to do your morning walks or just chill having your morning coffee.
Your mind seems to wonder and drift off while watching the ocean waves.

On July 28th 20, I moved from the Washington, DC / Northern VA area to the Jersey Shore. Making a dream come true. Always wanting to live off the Atlantic Ocean.
Here we are 8 years later.and loving life. My only complaint is I'm not a fan of the cold temps the Winter weather brings my way.

I used to blog almost daily on HotMatch.com. This past Spring I felt I needed a break from various sites. HotMatch.com being one of them.
Almost 90% of my blogs were mini photo blogs of where I live. Living at the Jersey Shore in Atlantic City, NJ.
Now I'm back on... I'm just getting reacquainted with the site and the members use it.

Okay - it's been a long time since I've been on the HotMatch.com site.
Not sure why but I seem to like this site more in the Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons.
During the Summer months I find myself spending less time typing away on my laptop, and spending more time on the beach and the Atlantic City boardwalk.
I'll do my best to at least post a blog even if it's once a week or every other week.

Not being on often I see I lost my Gold account.
