Daisy-- You are my first comment, and thanks for the quote, which made it easy. As one who, for many years, has been in a dead-end marriage, with a wild and wonderful (albeit maddening, and mostly platonic) friend for almost 20 of those years, I began looking at this friend all the more seriously, now that the reason for my continued marital status (last offspring leaving the nest) is coming to an end. Recently, though the friend seems to be happily ensconced with another member of HotMatch.com, so the likelihood of my seriously consummating with her in the foreseeable future seems dim. I was just thinking tonight that I need to find the person with whom, from the "get go," we can be each other's "destination," rather than "way station." Thanks for the catalyst.
