Just getting started

Just got on this site to see what it was like. So far it’s been pretty interesting. I am really trying to decide if I should go gold. Any feedback would be amazing!

 *Value* is in the eye of the beholder. To be sure, Gold membership is *conspicuous consumption*. To that effect, while I consider my cable connection to be a utility (ie, a *business of Life* cost), my Gold membership simply maximizes flexibility in my choices for diversion. I am grateful to have these choices at nominal opportunity cost.

 Gold status allows you more leeway when using the site. I have been told by a few lovely Ladies that they don’t pay anything!?!? They of course have been on here awhile. I finally went gold when I was offered a substantial discount. So don’t take the standard offer...hang in there because this site needs beautiful Women like yourself to brighten up the place.

 About the only thing you can do without gold is blog and comment on blogs. You can't message, email, chat or perve profiles. I was gold for nearly seven years and just had my gold membership yanked by the site for what I think are made up reasons. (Not responding to ten emails a day. I don't even GET ten emails a day!) I miss being able to browse profiles- I love looking at the gorgeous photos posted by the members here. But my wife and I were never here to try to score sex so seeing profile is sort of a luxury at these prices. It's much more convenient to see profiles and send messages so if you're here to try to hook up or meet you might want to have gold. We really don't need it, and given the site's perennial dysfunction- and boy is it ever dysfunctional- it think it's way overpriced. If it weren't for glitches there wouldn't even be a site at all.
