Fake Profiles on AFF - catherine592492

I've been on HotMatch.com for a number of years on and off and had a fair share of fakes, but I've also met some fun women who were totally real. Had a few FWBs for a few years as well.

The amount of fake profiles is huge so I thought I would take on what another member, Winninglol, started, which was a blog of fakes he found.

Here is my latest faker. Her (his?) username is catherine592492 and has been a member since 2018. Most times the fake profiles are usually a day or so old before they disappear, but a few have stayed around avoiding being caught.
She (he?) chatted me up a bit then asked if we could chat outside of HotMatch.com. I offered and we chatted through there. She sent me two pics, one turns out is canadian cam Brcyi. They even sent me a photo of a driver's license to prove they were real. If you look at the license, the signature is totally different, although the address is real, but I cannot find a Catherine Spencer anywhere.

The top pic is some red carpet affair. Any idea of the event ?

Yes, according to Bryci's Instagram, which is where this photo came from, it's the AVN Awards

Oh yeah, that driver's license is totally fake.

Clue #1: I live in Cali, and California DLs list your last name first, first name last on them. Which is shown, but you can see that the "owner" has done the opposite. The background has been Photoshopped to remove whatever name WAS there, and "her name" has been put into place, albeit incorrectly.

Clue #2: The birthdate is listed like it would be in European form. That might be an "option", but it's not the standard regular way of any license in the USA. It's listed on here three times, one of which is clearly Photoshopped: in the small black display on the dotted blue background; lower right corner.

Clue #3: The angle of the main picture is off, in correlation to the edge of the license, and the edges of the picture in whole are ragged.. Rarely, if ever at all, does this happen, and if it does, the odds of it actually getting by QC in Sacramento and out to the driver are even more astronomical.

Clue #4: Can anybody actually read that signature? I'm no expert in handwriting, but that "name" sure looks like it might begin with a "J" or an "I". Not with a "C" as you might expect someone named Catherine would write.

Clue #5: "Black hair and blue eyes". Umm, sweetie... your color picture has you sporting brown eyes, and if you're wearing colored contacts, pretty certain it's required by State law for you to not only list your true eye color, but the fact that you also wear any kind of corrected eyewear, even if they're cosmetic.

Last but not least, the obvious Photoshopping of selected background areas:
1. Under the expiration date.
2. Under the last name.
3. Under the first name.
4. Under the small black birthdate, lower right corner.

Driver's licenses have been watermarked with color variations and other things for several years now, as an assurance to the licensee that it is real, and as a protection to thwart fraudulent ones. If you look closely at this "license" the red flags are easily shown. I'd say you dodged a bullet, and that's good. Trust your instincts if, in the future, someone sends you a pic of their license again.
