 My mom has had endless, repeated horrors with AT&T. I told her explicitly not to sign up with them, but nobody listens to me. My worst was with Hewlett Packard. The H key on my laptop broke, and all I needed was the keycap to snap on. Slip one in an envelope and mail it to me. But noooo, I spoke to an Indian customer disservice operator, and I would have been three weeks without my computer, and they would restore it to factory, including rereformatting my drive. No matter what I said I couldn't convince him not to send me the box, and he never got my name even approximately right. I just moved the windows key to the H position until I could get a new keyboard that had an H on it.
