Humor - It's Chili Time of Year
It's supposed to get colder this weekend with a chance of snow Friday into Saturday, so since I will most likely be spending the weekend by myself, making a pot of chili is sounding very tempting. The only downside to that is I can't seem to make small portions, so it will likely last into the next week, in a couple different ways.

 lol nice one..I always end up making more than I can eat..My live in aide doesn't like my chili and its no big deal I eat it for about a week and finish it off..I don't really like being around fussy people and wasteful people..He makes big pots of split pea soup but leaves it on the stove and doesn't freeze or store it in the fridge and throws it away, pot half full..makes no sense but as long as I don't have to eat it power to him..thanks

People tell me that I make my chili too spicy, but I don't like it to taste like meat, beans and ketchup.

 I found a chili recipe that is made in a cast iron skillet( cook it to bubbly stage) then top with cornbread batter. Baked in the oven - not only is it scrumptious but it cuts down on the amount of leftovers.
