Life is not a free lunch ! I went to a funeral service today. I somewhat knew the man that had passed on. At the service, I learned much more about what a great man he was, by those that spoke of him. He leaves the world behind, but he is closer to his love. One chapter in life ends and another begins. Life IS short. Being here on HotMatch.com, I gained some friends on this social network. I'm thankful for that. I feel it's time for me to leave this site, and begin or renew a better life for myself, as I'm apparently not finding much reciprocation from others. Few it seems are here for more than social internet friends. They want more, but only gossip, or fantasize and wish, but do nothing. The majority here it seems are here for other selfish reasons, and that's okay too. For me, it's more clear to me that I'm not where I need to be, after a few years of engaging with others here. I've been respectful and even blunt, and more direct at times, but at least, I'VE gotten involved. I've made my presence clear. I'm here and available. I'm engaging, unlike others who just show up, but are silent. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Now is the time for me to understand things better. 3 years ago, I came here with the hopes of finding someone to spend time with, outside of this fantasy place. I didn't come here just to share my soul with soulless people with no faces ( I'm not being literal here about the lack of people sharing facial pics ). Also, i'm guessing once my post drops off the leader board, no one will look at this post again. No surprise. People want instant and repeated gratification. It takes more work to see others beyond the curtain, and many will not even click on that button to see more. I feel sorry for them. I shouldn't ask, but if ANYONE ANYONE can tell me why I should stay here, then give me some explanation. Has anyone even taken the time to read my profile, or blogs, or magazine responses, or erotic stories, or asked me where one can find such ! If not, then.... Thanks for allowing me to be here, and good luck with whatever you are seeking. Maybe I'm judging most of you wrongly already, and If I am, I apologize. But I'm confident that only a few will see this post and comment saying things like "Sorry to see you go," and such, but will give me no reason to stay. Prove me wrong ! Is someone like ME, accepted here too, and why ?      Being curious and asking questions is a good thing! |

I think we all go through stages of hating this site. it's addictive, but when you don't get what you seek, it's also frustrating. I used to meet, but I'm looking for a bit more now, this is clearly stated in my profile, so everyone is on the same page, and I tell standard members. If you feel it's time to go, then go, as Lala say's you can always come back, but hopefully you won't need to, you will find what you seek

well i gotta say it is a well written blog well i can't can not find one reason for you to stay and as the blogs are being whored by a few... and no blog stays beyond their obsession to be seen. i think they truly believe they are serving a greater good with their copied pictures... little do they realize it is the same handful that comment on their content and then the ones that describe every every emotion in a crudely disguised poem i myself am 80% convinced soon i will follow you out of this vast emptiness to reality something that is venioumisy avoided here there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity
