Tis the Season!

Tis the Season! Another Christmas day in the books. Thank God! After being married for almost 30 years and with the joy of celebrating the holidays for years with family and friends, the season has a whole different feeling as a single guy. There is still a Christmas Eve gathering at my brother's place and I get to see my grown and their hubbys. However, the lonely Christmas Day blues did hit from the time I woke up Sunday morning until the day came to an end Sunday night. It's not my first Christmas alone and I am as prepared for the empty feeling as I could possibly be. But that feeling like there is a party going on and you are the only one not invited tends to loom heavy and control you during that day. Thankfully, there is eggnog and old X-mas DVD's to get one through. The day is now past and on to the better days and year ahead. If Christmas is a bad day to be single, then New Year's Eve is a great single's time. Good party, good food and drink, good friends and I am invited to this one!!! LOL Oh, and it's a great night to get lucky and have some fun. All in all, the Season is a good one, as long as you get through the 25th. Cum follow my blog and feel free to leave a comment.
