HALLOWEEN sadness

It is sad when some places get so many on Halloween they run out of stuff to give out and other places like mine get only 5 . Yes I said 5 the entire night. We had candy for about 20.

I remember getting a pillow case stuffed two or three times when I was that age. My comes home with barely 1/4 of a bag. Now that is truly Halloween sadness.

 Sorry that things didn't go as you hoped...
You should have sent your kid to my neighborhood.. I was giving out handfulls.. as much as they wanted...60 kids plus adults came to my door and I had tons of candy left over because one year, we had 100 kids in this neighborhood...
On farms, no kids show up.. not sure if their parents are too darn lazy to take them around to all the farms like we did when the kids were little.. Not sure if the big parties at people's homes are taking over.. or what...
But I very much enjoyed seeing all the tiny kids and even the bigger kids..
There were great costumes this year. The weather was nice.. and balmy even..

Looking forward to a good year ahead!!
