Do the opposite sex turn you on or off? I was thinking as I look at other members blogs, I began to notice that I am more turn on when I see a woman's body than a man's sexual parts, Don't get me wrong I love men but just looking at a pic of a penis isn't going to turn me on, Yes I have been with women But I rather have that committed relationship with a man, It is weird I know, I am pondering the turn on too, maybe because my generation was taught it is taboo for the same sex to be together, I guess when something is forbidden you want it and desire it more, now seeing a man with a towel wrapped around his lower body is a turn on, seeing his chest is a turn on, or wearing certain clothes is a turn on, seeing the print of his penis in his pants is a turn on, but just looking at his penis isn't. I don't know if that make me Bi lol but seeing a woman's breast or her pussy is such a turn on for me, now if I see her in her clothes, it does nothing for me, thank you for reading my blog and your comments and your insight. |

Curious thoughts, a woman's body has more to admire I believe. By and large I think even women would think a ladies ass is much sexier than a man's.

I don't think you are unusual feeling that way. I have heard the same from lots of women. I think part of it is that some men are so in love with their own penises that they think everyone else will love them too! I have to say, I don't really find a vagina shot any more appealing, on it's own. I think a good picture needs to show the sensuality of a person, and give a glimpse of hoe their mind works, and half clothed pictures with a bit of eye contact or whatever work better in that respect. But why it should be so common for straight women to appreciate beauty in other females, where straight men tend not to like it in other males I am not so sure. Is it a competition thing maybe. Men see another cock as competition, women see a sisterhood?

Oops, I digressed a lot from addressing your topic. Besides bad photography, maybe it's because it's only a part of what makes a partner attractive and arousing -- and when it's directly involved it's in a place where you can't see it. But what about finding pictures of naked women arousing? If you've been with women and enjoyed it -- even if you prefer men -- then I'd say yes, you're bi, just incidentally. Maybe that (incidentally) bi aspect of your mind just works with naked women. I thought I had an insightful thought in there somewhere, but I don't seem to be able to find a clear expression of it.

One problem with cock pictures is that penises don't photograph well. There are a few women who do like cock pictures -- either because they find them arousing or because they like to see what they'll be playing with if they hook up with a guy. When I was more actively looking for a sex partner, I took such a picture, and it was not at all easy. I had to get the lighting right, get the focus right, get the aim right, and then make sure I was good and hard when I triggered the shutter -- and thinking about lighting, focus, and camera aim is quite a distraction from the type of thoughts that maintain an erection. It took a long time to get that picture right. If I needed a new picture, I think I'd just hire someone to deal with the camera, or have my wife take care of it. But unlike most photos, people aren't usually going to complain if a cock picture is a few years old, so I don't think I would need a new picture of my junk even if I wanted to show it off for reasons other than exhibitionism.

At this point ...images alone don't do much for me - unless it's paired with an attractive attitude. In my life I've met enough women who were physically beautiful in an extreme, but who also had such an absolutely hideous personality that for them (as a whole person); spending the night vomiting seems more appealing than they do ....... so yeah, for better or worse images alone don't do a whole lot for me.....

The reason ( My theory ) is that the camera does not show what it was intended to show . When you look at a dick with it just sticking up in the air you really have no way of knowing that the owner of that dick enjoys fine dinning and long romantic walks in the moonlight . He is an honest and hard working and his main desire in life is a stable home to come home to after working as an engineer down at the plant .
