Do not engage. I have met many nice and funny people in the chat room. A large percentage of people there are just that. There are a few though that is purposely confrontational, spiteful and hateful. I don’t know why they are the way they are. It could be their mother didn’t breast feed them, or their father force fed them. Whatever it is, they are miserable people that are not happy unless they make people as miserable as they are. When dealing with them, I offer a bit of unsolicited advice. Do not engage. If you do not engage, you deny them the attention they so desperately crave. As we learned in the movie War Games, the only way to win in Global Thermal Nuclear War is to not play. Do not engage. If you do not engage, they will eventually give up and go away. After no one falls into their trap, they are isolated to just themselves. Perhaps then they might get visited by some Christmas ghosts and teach what lonely, miserable people they are, and they change their ways. Or their loneliness and isolation will make them so depressed they will put a gun in their mouths. Either way, the world will be a better place. Do not engage. If you want to reply to this with a hateful message, don’t bother. I will delete it. I will not engage. How about a nice game of chess? |

Best advise regarding those you describe. Do not engage. The blogs would be much better of if everyone understood it.  When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

tis true - many come to just troll the rest, and they enjoy the reaction. If you dont react, you deny them what they did it for.

I now stay out of the chat rooms for that very reason. PLus if you are not a regular, they rest can be very mean and rude. I do not need that shit so I DO Not Engage (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
