Giving up on the U.S.?

Some people are fed with the idiocy that is washing over the U.S.

The NYT details some who are leaving or planning leave if Trump is re-elected.

Of course it is hard get legal status in many places unless you marry a citizen of that country. Frankly the South of France, Italy and New Zealand have a better climate and better government than the U.S.

It is hard let go of the dream and idea of America. The reality is becoming too unreal.

Would you go, if you could? Where and when?

I would need to learn French and Italian if in Europe, but New Zealanders speak a version of English...

America is in decline despite Trump, not because of Trump.
The education system has produced "Socialists" most of whom do not know what Socialism is or its' history.

I am more concerned about the right wing rich and greedy than the left wing wanting a fairer distribution of wealth. America always rewards the successful.

A lot of older people fear Trump destroying Obama care and Medicare and Social Security.

You know just getting out of the Paris Climate Pact was such a huge mistake as our weather and climate is just getting worse each day. I don't have a passport to move to another country, but if he is reelected I would love to leave another four years of lies and deceit and more unnecessary deaths would be a travesty, not like it isn't already.

I am hopeful that people are getting out and vote, I admit I haven't voted since Clinton. But we have reregistered and waiting for our ballots by mail.

Thanks for asking these great questions and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I have my passport renewal request pended due to COVID so when it comes back I will see what the environs are. Australia nd New Zealand are the last items on " The List" and The UK is an option as well.

I think it is looking more likely that Joe Biden will win the election. There will a lot of repair needed to fix the problems. We have to fight to make the U.S. better.
