Luck

I surprised to find some of my success in life is just due to good luck. People usually claim hard work, education and intelligence for their success. Those help but dumb luck seems to also play an important role. I made some good choices but I also benefited from stumbling into some lucky situations. I won some cases due to having a good judge and finding some good facts and legal issues.

Sometimes I won because the opposing lawyer was not very good. Sometimes I won because the witnesses for me were excellent and the other side was poorly prepared and caught in lies.

So I thankful for good luck which has helped me over time.

 I think if many of us re-assess our lives we will discover fortune and luck played a very necessary role in many instances
