It was bound to happen sometime this winter..

Yep, I slipped and fell on ice/snow.

That is one of the biggest fears I have as I get older. As cautious as one tries be during the Minnesota winters, inevitably a spot that looks safe catches you off-guard and down you go.

It happened as I was crossing the street my workplace. There was a slick spot covered by a layer of snow at the curb, and before I knew it, I was flat on my ass.  I quickly got up, shook it off, got my bearings, and continued my journey into wor

When I got inside, I began realize how hard I tumbled.. my arm was skinned through layers of clothing, and days later I am feeling sore on my right side.

Once again, if you live in a wintery climate, be very careful and shuffle along if need be!

Oh no, I hate when that happens. I hope you are ok.

Just a heads up- inorder for you post to be on the blog page for others to see.... you have to make a comment on your post. It’s some kind of glitch on the blogs.

I realize that, thus the photo of my arm, lol. I am a bit sore, but it could have been worse. Btw, I did respond..

I fell over a paving slab,, I windmilled to no effect, and it was like slow motion as I fell over face first. I didn't hurt myself but was very embarrassed!

Proud to say that in this mild iowa winter, I have not once fell, slipped, did the windmill motion, but now that I just bragged, I'm sure to eat it hard tomorrow.

Oh brother.....i hope u heal with no residual issues. Call me crazy but i carry ice melt with me in a sprinkle container. I have been known to sprinkle in front of each step as i walk from the parking lot into work. I have also stepped out of the car to pump gas.....and slid.....got back in and got the ice melt....had to lay a layer down in order to get the gas. There is a ziplock full in my office.....a huge bag of it in the car....and a jug of it in the house by the door. I have all the bases covered....lol. Heres to no more slips for you ~~
