I relieve the mistery.... Song words are about girl who is always in center of attetntion, specially at partys. Most ppl think she is nothing but the party girl and thats all she got... Men wants her but not to be serious with her. Actually she is beeing just fun person and every one gets her wrong. She knows who she loves but somewhy cant be together with him. So she trys to forget him. Flirting with others... And hiding her pain deep inside... And she somewhy is also hiding her real me... Intelligent and smart girl who she is...

Thre might be some thruth also about seeking a friendly safe reassuring smile... I guess she is also hiding her low self esteem under a smiling face.... so any reassuring smile to her is to make her feel better...

Hi Arabela, The words remind me of the song "Levoton Tuhkimo" which was one of the most famous singles by group "Dingo" back in 1984. The piece was 20 consecutive weeks on finnish TOP-list, untill the broadcasting corporation changed the list rules and limited the number of consecutive weeks. Remix-version was made on 1992. In Estonia, Mari-Lee made the song under cover-version "Rahutu Tuhkatriinu" and lifted it to list-hit there on 2006. Finnish metal band HIM made their own version of it by year 1999. Someone has translated the text into english on page http://HotMatch.com.com+203815 but it seems to be quite literal translation, unlike your text which to my opinion might promote the original message better way. Good text anyway, was it not impressed by Dingo. Actually it is translation from Estonian version of the song... With what it is partly easy to relate... And the Estonain artist is actually Mari-Leen
