I have been a paid member of HotMatch.com for more than 10 years. When I first joined there were many benefits available to free members but I chose to be a paid member to get all the benefits.
HotMatch.com has slowly eroded the benefits to both free and paid members to the point that I no longer feel it is worthwhile to be a member. Free members can no longer read or reply to messages from paid members. Free members can no longer read or reply to messages they sent or received while paying for membership. Free members can no longer read new responses to their blog posts. I did not mind paying for membership, but when HotMatch.com won't let free members read the emails I sent as a paid member there is no point in being here any longer.
I have made many friends here over the years. I have met quite a few of them in person and communicate with them via personal email. Others I never met but still communicate with them on other social sites. I will miss the friends that I have no other way of contacting.
I will leave my profile open and will check back from time to time to see if HotMatch.com realizes the error of it's penny pinching ways. If they do, I will be back as a paid member but only if they allow free members to read and reply to paid members emails.
