Well an update was in order, since I am not new anymore sadly. I wandered the corridors of HotMatch.com for some time as a new one. Taken in by the flashy cams and rooms promising instant gratification. Some almost did, lol.
Eventually I settled into a room and sat and watched, and occasionally contributed. People in the room eventually got used to me being around, and would say hi when I came in. That was nice.
Over time I have got to know many of the people in the room well, and felt free to chat and laugh along. Now when I dont speak to them for a while, I miss them. And a couple of them miss me too. Have I had wild sex every night. No. Have I met some people who brighten my day and make me feel a little bit sexier. Yes.
Things are looking up - Work is getting to talk to women, and they are answering back - sometimes even nicely lol

Tough when you are new

While HotMatch.com is a wonderful thing, it is a bit baffling to an idiot new boy like myself.I am not entirely sure of what is rude or pushy, or what is in fact being a wallflower and never getting to talk to anyone.
Of course, I consider myself a reasonable person, who anyone would want to talk to. Whereas I suspect others have seen me as a pest to be avoided. But how can you see people's faces or read their straplines without wanting to meet them and find out more - people are fascinating. You see people on cam and although you may project your own fantasy onto them, each person is a real human being, with families, jobs, emotions, needs and wants outside of the cam or chat group.
I have spent today watching and probably irritating people who I was interested in talking to. I guess I am going about it wrongly. Must try harder or softer! And of course that is the key - building trust, making friends and creating lasting relationships does not happen in a minute just because you have a webcam, it is still about people - and it takes time and effort.
So, to all those I have annoyed - sorry. Will try harder, smarter and slower to meet each and every one of you, well all the ones who look fascinating!!
