Would you go to a hug bar?

If you want titillation, you can go to stripper bar to watch girls stripping, and maybe book a "private dance." Some of them offering ladies nights with male dancers from time to time.

If you want sex, it's relatively easy to find a willing escort, or maybe get lucky on a site like this.

If you want a massage, there are places for that, with or without a "happy ending"

Even with all the adult entertainment on offer I think there is possibly a gap in the adult market for a hug bar!

In such a bar, the entertainers would be fully clothed (albeit in close fitting sexy outfits). Dancers would take turns to do a jar collection, circulate among the clientele briefly hugging anyone who wants a hug. In between, they would offer "private hugs" where they would cuddle up for a few minutes of fully clothed affection.

I don't know about you, but for me, this would be a lot more appealing than your typical strip show.

Would this appeal to women as well as men?

Would there need to be a separate ladies night where the entertainers are men?

Maybe it would work best with both male and female dancers available on any given night! (with clear indication of who they are there to hug).

Would there be jealousy if amateur ladies who like hugs came in and offered hugs for free - taking business away from the dancers?

How would the licencing authorities see such an establishment?

Thoughts anyone?

Would you go to such a bar?

Would you work in such a bar?

Maybe this could be tried for a charity night with volunteer dancers?

If so, would you volunteer?

What's your emotional currency?

Just suppose you had all the cash and material possessions you could ever need what would be the "currency" that would motivate you to get out of bed in the morning?

For some, it might be "feeling needed" caring for those they love, for others, it may be hearing music, playing a game, taking the for a walk (or possibly the other way around) competing in a sport, learning something, or sitting down with friends for a cup of tea and a chat.

Are you the kind of person who would you help a friend tidy their garden, or re-decorate a room and feel adequately rewarded with a sandwich, a cold drink, and a hug at the end of it?

Just asking - we all have our own internal motivations quite separate from our material needs.
