Is there anybody besides me who thinks birthdays aren't depressing, but more disappointing? Mine didnt totally suck, but on the other hand, it could've been a whole lot better too! Not that I was counting on much. I learned don't expect much and then you're not too disappointed. I think next year I'll just cancel the whole fucking thing and go hide somewhere.

I've always wondered who would actually REALLY show up if I had a week free to spend at the beach, house with a pool, stocked bar, all the fun stuff! Any volunteers? And did I mention it would be an open invitation? Tell me why I should let you in the front door

Definition of bad day:
--counting on a day of hot sex with somebody I havent seen in quite a while and getting cancelled on (work does come first though, so I understand)
--having to buy the second tank of gas already this week
--getting stood up yet again (sort of) by somebody who showed GREAT promise, and made all the right promises. I say sort of stood up, since nothing was written in stone but the hope was there.
Definition of a good day:
--HAVING THE DAY OFF on a halfway decent day for a change
--seeing deer in the neighbor's yard when I walked the tonight
--spotting a humongous bald eagle on Rt 60 down near Toano this morning. That of a gun was sitting on top a dead tree about the height of a telephone pole, not 10 feet from the road. THAT one thing made the whole day worthwhile!

No, I'm not looking for a dance partner. (it's against my religion....  ) I do have a friend who likes to dance and he's looking for a recommendation while he's stuck here in town on business. Apparently his preference is swing dancing and maybe (ugh) line dancing too. This is what I get for not having a life! I don't know the answers to questions like this!!

Why, when you talk to somebody online for a while and you mesh really well--and then meet, and things seem to go really really really well....... and then things just come to a screeching halt. What the hell? An explanation would've been nice at least.

I'm still a little angry over the ending of my last "relationship". Maybe this will help things some--I've been told it might. If not, it'll certainly be fun to write anyways!!

If I knew I wouldn't have to listen to everybody's crap, I'd call you out here and now, by your full name. But I'm not going to. What I do want people to know is what a cheating, lying scumbag you are. Other than telling me you were, in fact, fucking other people when we first starting seeing each other, you really were never truthful about much of anything else after that point. I know you'd say the lying didn't really start until after you got back from Sturgis in August, when I got the partial truth out of you about that. But in reality, it started in February or April or whenever it was, that you told her she could go along. How and why I put up with all the behind my back crap, I don't know. It was one thing after another with you, including all the excuses about why you couldn't see me on one day or another. I guess you thought I was stupid, not calling you on any of it. But I can usually manage to put 2 and 2 together and come up with the right number. And I did. I'm not going into all the details here-- you should know them all. I wonder sometimes, did you celebrate all those holidays with her that you never did with me? I'm betting you did.
I know now that I gave you entirely too much of myself, too fast. I've always been prone to doing that. But you know what, this has been (by far) one of the easiest things to get over for me. No sooner did we exchange that final telling email(which you never answered, and I never expected you to), that I dumped all your contact info, your emails, your chats. I tore up all your pictures that I had and didn't feel a minute's remorse over it. And I haven't looked back since then. And no, you haven't "spoiled" me for anyone else. In fact, I'm more free now than I was before. Having my day off back in my possession is a great thing!
So tell me, did you get engaged before or after the rally? I'm betting it was after, probably down in Myrtle Beach. All it takes is that one scary incident to make you see certain things in a different light. How freaking romantic. Wonder if you were wearing the ring I gave you when you asked her .... Yep, damn nice of you to ask someone else to marry you while you were seeing me (and leading me blindly down the path).
Let's see, what else do I have to bitch about since this is my blog and I can use it to complain as I see fit .... hmmmm Oh yeah, maybe if you HADN'T lied, we could at least still be friends. But wait, you're full of shit and that just ain't gonna work. So hey, have a nice life and maybe try not to lie to your future wife nearly as much as you did to me.
