I was very apprehensive. Never before had I been to a gay bar nor had I went out this publicly dressed as a woman. I drove around the block a couple times to build my courage. He offered me some but declined and pulled out a cigarette and smoked and talked with him for a cigarettes time. I went back to the car and knew I would return when I gained more confidence.
