Why Do You Blog?

Many active bloggers wouldn't know that I have had a blog for almost 10 years. I'm not what you would call an active blog participant. I tend to be a bit of a lurker..or a stalker whatever you want to call it. I've read some interesting blogs and I've read some that have left me shaking my head. A post I read today made me think about what motivates bloggers when they post about their exploits for all of blogland to see.
I'll admit, the few blog posts I created were with an agenda. Such as validation-seeking, am I normal? Curious minds want to know, just need to vent! and self esteem have been the rationale behind my blog posts. I mean, we're all human and sometimes we just need to know what others think!
I'm wondering, what motivates you to create a blog post? Do you have an agenda when you post a blog?

I am halfway through my training regimen for my first full marathon. Today I ran 10 miles and to celebrate I went out and bought a new swimsuit. What do you think? I like it!

A long-term FWB (met on this site) came for a visit this weekend. The past several years have led to some amazing encounters so I expected nothing less.
Those who have read my blog know that achieving not one but several orgasms in a single sexual encounter has never been an issue for me...until this weekend.
Imagine my surprise when "my friend" woke me up ready to go. Despite lengthy oral and manual stimulation, I could not get aroused or even lubricated. We ended up breaking out the lube and he gave it the college try in an attempt to get me to orgasm without success. I was pleased that he was able to orgasm but this left me feeling frustrated.
I have racked my brain in an attempt to figure out what happened and came to the realization that the intellectual connection we once had was lost. Physical attraction was there but without intimacy, my orgasm success was doomed.
Have you felt a strong physical attraction for a sexual partner only to discover that you couldn't get to the "finish line?" Is great sex possible without intimacy or are women just programmed differently?

After a hectic day at work this is the place where I seek solace- my backyard Nirvana. My favorite place to unwind with a glass of wine! Do you have a favorite place to unwind? I'd love to see it!
