So on the way into work this morning, I saw two dogs killing a third(we have a pack of stray dogs in our area). I've seen a few fights in college, but its a whole different thing watching them kill while sober.
Now I understand why Mike Vick went to jail.

Well, I just wanted to highlight the power of stopping and thinking before acting.
Without getting into to much personal detail (not because i think y'all know who I'd be talking about but because I want the power of the blog to be on stopping and thinking not the bullshit that I initially assumed), I saw something incredibly disturbing this morning on twitter.
Man I got HEATED... I didn't know what to do, I wanted to call the person and go in on them like they just got caught playing in they mommas panty drawer. Then I wanted to respond back to let them know that I know what was said and put it out there for all others to see how stupid they are. Then I wanted to just get even. Then, finally, i took a few deep breaths, smoked a cigarette (sorry for all you non-smokers) and thought.
You know what its not really that serious...

Well, its about to be fathers day and a I need to vent or just release all this thats going on in my brain.
This is going to be my first Fathers Day where I don't get to hold my babies...
My childrens mother moved them to the Chicago-land area when she realized that I wasn't trying to 'be with her' no more... which is fine. I honestly do want the best for her... just like I want the best for me but yeah... I digress.
This weekend my boss told me I couldn't take off of work because she was going to be off and at least one of us has to be in the office at all times to handle what happens here... Does she know I'm a father? yep.... Does she know my babies are up in Chicago? yep... Just the way life goes sometimes.
I am trying to find a job up there so I can be closer to them and see them more than this once a month bullshit. It just really hurts.
Well... I did talk to my oldest... (she might be my favorite - I have three) and she told me that when I'm up for July that we'll pretend like its Fathers Day... i almost shed a tear... (but my heart is to damn cold to warm up so easily).
I guess its gonna be a weekend of getting fucked up... I'm gonna go with Vodka and Red BULL i wish my favorite ummmmmmmmm 'sociable cigarrette' guy was still around... he done bounced without warning... non-money-lovin ass...

To be honest most things in life happen without your knowledge. The bible even says that the race is not given to the swift (those really smart cats) or to the strong (the ones who supposedly make it happen for themselves) but time and chance happens to us all.
The statement should be something clever that deals with how you handle the times and chances that are going to come your way. Its those times, those moments in life where a decision needs to be made, are you ready for it. Have you learned, studied, gained knowledge and prepared for this moment. Its those chances, those opportunities that come your way without you expecting them. Those people to talk to, those places to go. Man I feel like singing or rapping that "oh the places you'll go" by dr. seuss or singing that song "will you dance" or "I hope you dance" somethin its not my normal music genre (yes dr. suess is my normal reading genre, revisit them, you'll see what I mean).
I started out this blog with the intent of bitching and moaning about how we have no control over what comes to us. As I blogged, I realized while we can't control what comes, in about any and every thing there is either time (a powerful moment for us to shine) or chance (an amazing opportunity to advance or grow). Your quality of life is rated or judged or attained by how you handle these.

What up HotMatch.com folks, don't have anything major to say, meaning I didn't wake up with this crazy desire to blog about anything specific. But I did have a desire just to put something down.
Had to start off the day jumping onto the roof. A shingle fell off in the storm. Since I still have that boyish fantasy of being a super man, of course I took my non-roof laying ass up there to put the shingle back. Lol shit it worked tap tap tap and we'll see if it lasts. Yeah I'm the dude that hates calling a professional if I think I can do it myself. It wasn't that hard, just follow the patterns of the shingles that didn't fall off.
Since then haven't really done anything but lay up. Listen to some mixtapes that I downloaded to my phone. Yo rappers to me, well all musicians, are some amazing creatures. Its amazing how songs by folks from folks you've never had a conversation with can relay all the feelings u have inside. I guess it speaks more to the commonality of the human spirit. Maybe those eastern type religions have something solid in the concept of all mankind being interconnected on a spiritual level. Even when u consider how songs from years ago can still speak to concepts, thoughts, ideas and emotions of today.

Good morning, its about 9am here and I'm just waking up from acting a fool, lol. Nothing big juss a lil schmoookin juss a lil draaaankin, lol. Luckily I'm not to prone to hangovers, I don't know I guess my body is just made for this kinda shit.
