I frequented OKC quite often, decent place to hang out...except for the tornadoes I was there in May a few years ago for the Moore tornado. My truck was in the shop and I watched the whole thing on TV in my hotel room.

Anyway...Werner has a dropyard there with the T/A truckstop right around the corner and there's a Wally World close by along with some good restaurants. There's also a great disc golf course close by so I used to go play once in a while I was camped at the T/A one night and caught this sunset, these are the best out of the 12 I shot...

LOVED how this one turned out, with the streaks of light

See the difference in colors?, zoomed in about halfway

This was zoomed in almost, if not all the way

WE the people

I am quite sure this will speak to some a little louder than others....

Secret bureaucracy-it's just a lie
The Devil's henchmen, in suit and tie
A sacred brotherhood, an ancient rite
Politicians and the double lives they hide!

Violate your rights, no more equality
Surrender freedom, your social security
WE, the people, face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves
The land of liberty needs a regime change
Until you no longer know right from wrong
The constitution isn't worth the paper it's written on

Violate your rights, no more equality
Surrender freedom, your social security
WE, the people, face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

Screams from the future, warn of calamity
The coming plagues of the new disease
The illuminati, one world currency
one world religion, one world everything!

Violate your rights, no more equality
Surrender freedom, your social security
WE, the people, face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

WE, the people, face unconstitutional lies
In greed we trust, in revolution we die

Pretty awesome huh? Wanna know who wrote it?

This song was written by Dave Mustaine...yes, Megadeth. He knows how to write things that make you think. You may not like that style of music but the words are powerful indeed

Explaining an injury

Most of you may have had to, some may not have had to, but ALL of you should have experienced the mundane task of explaining an injury or asking about one. You know damn well what I mean You or someone else comes back to work with a cast or crutches or large bandage etc. etc. etc.

ANNNND...........

"Oh wow, what happened???"

A couple hundred fucking times!!!!

Over and over and over and over you tell the story. I always wanted to write it out once on a 3x5 card and just hand it to them and let 'em read it. But I have a BETTER idea now!!

I'll be involved in a bag tag tournament for disc golf this Saturday and I know I'll have to explain the large bandage on my knee at least 20 times. So instead of repeating the same shit over and over and over I am going to make up something completely different for each time

later on... "Did you hear about John? Cutting his knee on a nail at work?"

"No he didn't, he said someone threw a bottle at him on Freemont Street."

"I heard a pallet fell on him at work."

I got pissed off at work and was going to throw an old aluminum broom handle across the warehouse. But I kept saying "no, don't do it, no don't do it..." and I swung up high and brought it down so hard it broke. The 18" piece left in my hand hit my kneecap and sliced me open. 8 stitches. I saw my kneecap If'n y'all wanna see it, scroll down...but be warned!!! It's nasty lookin'

I took these one night while at the main terminal for Werner in Omaha. Such a great sunset and I actually took 15 pictures including 8 different panoramic shots. I've since learned that the pictures don't look as spectacular when posted here because they're restricted to a certain width. So from now on I will just post the better full frame shots to optimize the space available

To get these shots I was standing on top of a transformer box, not only for a better view but also to have a clear shot over the chain link fence I chose these shots to show the quick progression in the change of color, which happens in about 5-7 minutes max. You might also notice a slight difference in the last picture which happens when I zoom in from the basic level. Enjoy...

Dontcha hate it…

When you’re in the height of passion, thrusting away long and deep and you accidentally pull almost all the way out and almost get bent in half on the way back in?

When you forget to wipe your dick off after sex, then later when you go to pee you get 2 streams squirting in directions nowhere near the bowl? Or you fall asleep and when you wake up to go pee your dick is stuck to the sheets so when you roll over it tears away?

When her teeth get in the way during a BJ?

When she changes her mind for no reason?

When she says “you know what I mean.”

When you come up with a perfect surprise plan, get it all set up and she says “I don’t feel like going anywhere.”

When she says “I’ll just be a minute!”

When she calls and asks you to get her some feminine hygiene products on your way home.

When she insists on doing something a certain way even though you know there’s an easier, quicker way.

When SHE decides what you’ll both be watching on TV on any given night.

But isn't it all worth it when she stares deep into your eyes and says "Yeesssssss..."

Gadgets. Phones, laptops, PDAs, MP3 players, scanners, digital this, that and the other etc. etc. etc.

So much technology in our world anymore and most of it runs our lives, doesn't it? So many things necessary to make our lives more convenient...easy........justified

And of course these things become obsolete rather quickly, requiring updates or newer units...costing more money.......causing more frustration. Don't deny it, we've all heard SOMEone SOMEwhere bitch about their damn cell phone or smart phone or other device. And if you didn't hear it, someone else was hearing YOU yes?

Glitches, hiccoughs, freezing, error messages etc. etc. etc. Convenient aren't they? Easy to fix, aren't they? Making an excuse justified.

I often wonder...HOW did we EVER survive so long without technology?

This just exploded inside my empty cranium

Given the opportunity to change human society in one way and one way only, would you?

Yeessss....ONE way.... tough decision yes indeed

SO many things could benefit our existence on this planet. Which would be the best, most beneficial thing to do? As I am certain there would be a great many of the intelligent people (like me) who would ponder to a great conclusion such as ice cream that would never melt. Wouldn't that be just sooooo AWESOME!!!

Seriously though...end disease? end famine? end greed? etc. etc. etc.

I'm hoping for a great many opinions on this, don't be afraid to let people know what you think. NO reading and leaving, make a comment! BE HEARD!!

In Northern California there is a town near Mt. Shasta and every time I drove through there I had an incredible urge to pull in to the truckstop and stay a while

From the east side of the parking lot you have a beautiful view of Mt. Shasta so I had the opportunity to get some nice pictures during the summer and winter...

I made the list!!!

I know it's probably more trivial than I am willing to admit but I think it's cool I made the list of popular blogs on this site. Especially since I am just a beginner. I've seen that list (it's on the side of everyone's home blog page) showing the most popular blogs by unique responses for the women and the men, along with who's commented on your blog posts and the blogs on which YOU have commented. I was quite surprised, given the numbers of posts from others, that mine got on there. But very cool, to me anyway, that I have written things which have made other people want to comment/participate.

THANK YOU!! to all my watchers and commenters!!

As some of you may know...or maybe read but don't really care ...I drove a truck around the country for almost 5 years. I took a few pictures here and there of various things and I'd like to share with y'all if'n that be okay

I took this shot at the truckstop in Big Springs Nebraska. Some of the guys in the shop took old unusable tires and made this...

(extra points if ya know what it is)

Last week I posted a poll about making the bed, do you or don't you. The results are in and in an astounding landslide MAKING the bed won by a vote of 6 to 5 over not making the bed. Whew!! Good thing everyone sounded off about that one
