I'd be willing to bet something significant that pretty much anyone who has access to television has seen a "funny" video show Granted, the majority of these videos are fairly humourous and a few are downright hilarious
But what about the other 10% or so which show someone doing something that most likely ended with personal injury? There have been many times when I cringed in sympathy at what I saw...as if I could feel how bad that really hurt
Am I alone in this thought process?

Ever since I was around 30 years of age I decided to not enter a community pool....for obvious reasons. Never really thought of it before but the idea of going into a large body of contained water shared with various many other people just didn't seem to be appealing to me
I have my own private pool at my disposal at any time. Usually during the summer when it's scorching hot outside I relish the idea of showering clean and then jumping into a nice cool swimming pool, but since I do not go into a pool unless it's mine and I've never had one......I came up with a better alternative
After showering clean in hot water I will stand under the shower spray and gradually turn the water down to the perfect temperature and just let the water run over me for a few minutes So perfect. So relaxing. When I've had enough I turn the pool off and get dry before preparing my evening edibles

Yes, this is indeed post number one hundred for me. I know, BFD
Thanks for stopping by, don't be afraid to drop a comment
Some odd trivia...If you had to spell out every number in sequential order, how far would you have to go to spell a word with the letter "A" in it?

Moving pictures, the big screen, the silver screen, Hollywoodland etc.
I would tend to think of myself as a videophile since I have about 400-500 DVDs, both movies and TV shows. Some might think that odd or excessive, but I've known people who watch a movie once and only once saying there's no reason to watch it again
Instant frustration JUST once??? WTF????? I could not imagine such a silly thing. I love watching movies over and over and over and over and over Not only because I enjoy the entertainment value but each time I pick up on something new
I prefer comedy and action but also enjoy comedy and action as well as comedy and action, occasionally I'll watch a comedy or action film too. Actually, I meant comedy and action Okay....horror, sci-fi, some dramas are okay but complete chick flicks are uhhh... yeah basically I'll watch a movie if any of the trailers I've seen catch my interest and if I like it enough I'll buy the DVD
On a related side note...Do you hate it when someone talks during a movie? Drives me fucking NUTS!!!
Anyway, to my point What kind of movies do YOU like? Do you choose a movie based on your mood or company or what? Do you like going to the theater or wait for the DVD? Do you like watching a movie more than once or is once or maybe twice good enough? Do you like scary movies? Can you watch scary movies by yourself? What's the best scary movie EVER?? Have you ever walked out on a movie because it sucked really bad? Do you hate too many questions? Do you buy buttered popcorn or plain? Do you eat gummi bears WITH your popcorn? Where do you sit in the theater? Do you always sit in the same place? What do you do if there's someone in your preferred seat? Do you hate having to miss part of the movie because you have to pee? Do you hate too many questions now? What's your personal favorite movie? Despite your opinion on what's your favorite, what movie do you think is the best of all time? What movie do you think should never be re-made? What time length is optimal for a movie? Do you like sequels? What movie do you think should have never been made? Who is the best actor/actress ever? Do you like cartoon movies? Do you think a cartoon actor/actress should ever be able to win an Oscar? Do you want me to stop asking questions now?

Today was....well....one of those days....
I was supposed to meet a co-worker from out of town out at the disc golf course and he didn't show up 'til 4 p.m. ....I was there at 11 this morning. But being from out of town visiting for the week and it's VEGAS!! so of course he didn't wake up 'til 1:30
I kept thinking there were several other things I could have been doing to be more productive...laundry...working on my mini disc golf baskets (for gifts and trophies).... goofing off in here was the most likely thing but I could have done laundry too
It was over 100 here today but the breeze kicked up a little here and there which helped significantly. When he finally told me he was headed over to the park it was 3:30 ugh!! I have a nice bit of freshly burned skin from today but oh well, pure aloe feels damn good when applied
After he showed up I gave him some basic instruction...he has played a couple times but still has no clue what he's doing so I coached him a little more and then we played half the course before heading over to the bosses house for some swimming and BBQed carne asada It's some of THE best if not the best in town and we had some good herbal supplement along with some righteous brew
After chowing down on some good food...the out of towner made some red skin potato mashed potatoes to go with the asada...and catching a very mellow buzz I was sitting on the patio letting it all sink in...staring at the full moon...
It was not a wasted day by any means: While at the park I interacted with several sets of strangers, including a family with 5 ranging in age from infant to about 12 or 13. I offered them helpful instruction about disc golf and how to throw properly, even helped get a disc out of the tree on the first hole I was impressed that the (assumed) second was so thankful for everything I was doing to help them enjoy their experience...she was saying "thank you" for everything even when it was not directed towards her, very nice! I offered some bit of instruction to several others during the day as well...I was just practicing a bit here and there
At the bosses house I even washed a few things to prepare and Que the carne asada... and it was okay, I was happy to do it. I offered the boss and the out of towner a couple of small sample pieces from the Que as they were freshly finished...they LOVED it, couldn't believe how good it was all by itself The mashed taters were completely awesome too!!
Now I am home, showered and sitting here sharing with you Thinking the only thing that would make this day the most perfect ever is if I had a friendly female here with me, someone with whom to relish the day, maybe give her a wink and make extremely passionate love together. But even since that aspect is not apart of the reality I do not care. I do not care that I've been having shitty days at work for a month. I do not care I am living in an extended stay type place. I do not care I am not comfortable with my current situation...financially, socially and even a bit mentally. I do not give A SHIT about all the crap I fret over day after day after day after day....TODAY was epic and I am glad I experienced it

Took these shot from the truck stop in Spiceland Indiana, exit 123 on I-70 if I remember, east of Indianapolis. Shot from the cab of my truck, I cannot remember if it was just cold outside or the view was better there
The cool thing about this truck stop is the professional go-kart racing track next door. I ventured over one time to check it out, they have karts for the public to race on various track formations at any given time. $60 for 30 minutes if I remember correctly and they get up to 60 MPH Would you??

I tried 5 times to post this yesterday....my computer was being a dick
Just some random shots from here and there....
This first one I took earlier this week when I was almost home. It's at the top of the off ramp from southbound 15 to Blue diamond Road, looking west. The rain was lightly falling on the foothills but a gap in the clouds behind was allowing the sun to shine through, thought it looked cool so I snapped a shot while waiting for the light to change That is the T/A truck stop in the foreground, spent many a night there
This next shot I was trying to catch the bartender shooting Clark Griswold but I reacted late. However, if you notice....I did after a minute and I .... Ellen looks like she's holding a giant invisible schlong and she's going down on it
Another beautiful truck from the truck show at the Iowa 80 truck stop, nice and shiny but not overdone
Sometimes I felt like this during heavy traffic...
Here's a shot of a very unique mountain out in the middle of nowhere, south of the Four Corners area in New Mexico
This shot was taken across the valley from Park City Utah, looking west at the Olympic Ski Jump facility....looks like fun, would you?
