MALTA (Island, southern part of Europe)
Monthly couple meetings still happening every month generally during the last weekend of each month. We are a small community and welcome Tourists to act out thier fantasies...with our help

we are a group of 80couples in Malta and we meet regularly every last friday of the month. We meet at a carefully chosen public bar as if it was just another drinks night out!
Age Groups are varied...usually separated into 3groups:
21 to 35yrs
35yrs to 55yrs
55yrs to 65yrs
However, when we get to know you as a couple and trusted you will then be informed and possibly invited to our other sex parties.(all free of charge) this is a non-profit group just for fun.
Note - There are no Swinging Clubs in Malta as the swinging community is small and not commercially viable for anyone to do such a business. However parties here and there are done regularly. Usually in rented Villas.

UNDERSTANDING MALTESE SWINGERS
Malta (Southern part of Europe) is small island where everybody practically knows everybody!
example....
1: We met one of my employees on the nude beach in Gnejna Bay
2: We met a guy at an orgy in Gozo, who i interviewed to employ only two weeks before.
3: My partner met her own cousin at a nude villa party
4: My brother-in-law and old school friend is a swinger member
5: My nephew & partner are members in our small swinger Group.
So no wonder some couples and secret playing married females are paranoid about being found-out...so they take extra/extreme measures not to circulate photos / change real names / think twice or three times before meeting unknown people.
Often (sometimes without wanting) because inexperienced new males/females and new couples get over excited and talk/chat too much information about what happened and where and who they saw.....and in Malta that is very dangerous as it's very very small and the word spreads too fast!
These are the basic main differences between swinging in central Europe and Malta. One has also to take into consideration the social-religious indoctrination which makes females (more than males) feel more religious guilt.
This is also one of the main reasons why I prefer to meet with every new member as we have cases were people work at the same office/ large company or even practice the same profession....and when i get to know this i give pre-warnings to the individuals concerned so they would not end up at the same venue/party (most people would feel unconformable to say the least) ...
Conclusion if you wonna have fun in Malta, please respect our basic rules which are in place because of necessity. I am writing this article as many foreign couples who visit Malta for the summer holidays expect to find couples for fun within a couple of hours or a day....well, because of the mentioned situations it takes longer to "set-up" fun-dates.
Remember...there are no such clubs! So couples and single swingers resort to online sites...and then they get suspicious because of alot of fake online profiles.....now most real couples have profiles with nicknames and are not considered fake at all(they do it not to uncover thier real names & faces)....but as in any other countries there are males who try to deceive and put up a "couple's profile" or a "female's profile" because they might think they will get "luckier".
All this does, in reality is just confuses the whole thing up!

Malta & Single Playing females...
Some call them "unicorns" as they seem to be so rare! Alot is said about them, alot is dreamt about them, alot is grumbled about the lack of them...but let's look at the history of this group Swinger's couples group CLOSECOUPLES after 11years.
There has been no one member who has included another single female member in 11years....is it because they never met a single female? Definitely not...it's because they decided to keep her to themselves, of course...."why share such a rare unicorn", they might say! Well statistics talk for them selves. We included and managed to find only around 6 single females and included them into the CLOSECOUPLES Group....and as time has thought us....they are usually chased , annoyed, harassed and finally pushed away from our group events within less than 6 months.
Of course, I know some really weird stories that are best kept unsaid as to what drove them out.....but it all boils down to lack of respect & an overdose of male testosterone. Some single (or secretly married guys) behave similarly. Not all females say why because they might be shy or don't want to place others in trouble...but one can very easily read between the lines. No special forensics are needed to conclude the results.
In general, single Maltese females would prefer to couple-up rather than enter a party-room as a single....and besides the religious and morality issues there is always the Maltese syndrome FOBFO (Fear of being found out) which is wide spread in such a small island like Malta even amongst couples.
FOBO infact drives playing single females to connect with foreign men & couples outside of Malta and some play only abroad. Most common noted places are London Dungeons for BDSM ladies, Sicilian nude beaches, Italian clubs in Pulgia & Milan regions and also Munich & lately also met two Maltese females who even dance at a strip club in Austria.
To conclude, from the brief study we did it shows that single females do play and they do exist but they simply don't trust the current system. Are we ready to change, to control our testosterone and learn to respect a "no thank-you" more than ever before? for the good of a more fruitful sexual party life on this small island? I wonder!
To grumble about the situation is easy but to change a nation's sexual attitude without any formal sexual education in schools seems very difficult and impossible!
UPDATE; A couple wrote feedback to us which was worth sharing and adding to this article. They say, rightly so that...
Most single females in Malta can pick and choose to their liking, singles or couples without much hassle. No need to join a group, club or parties....and they do so very discreetly. So, it shows as if there are none around but truly there are and they do the contact not the couples nor the single males...females rule in this game it seems

What makes females like or dislike sex and /or swinging?

Over these last ten years I have been trying to coordinate social events to introduce couples to couples and sometimes singles to couples here in the small island Malta (europe)
It's been a constant struggle for various socio-religious island issues. The main reasons seems to religious morality, the small community on the island where everybody practically knows eachother and fear. Fear of meeting someone you know from work or family and fear of being found out as a swinger publicly. Some do manage to work around these issues and have met us to get approved as a real active trusted swinger couples but some others who we know are real, have not made that step and decide to either swing abroad (away from our island's population as possible) or decide to swing only with visiting tourists so as to cut any local connection as much as possible.
However, the most predominant issue in the local swinging scene is the lack of playing single females, reasons being as mentioned above.
Something that really stands out to me is the shear amount of married males who would love their wife/partner to swing and can't get her to accept it. It's very rare to have the situation were the females wants to swing and the male is reluctant. during these last 10years I have met only three such cases. So I ask myself, why don't women want to have fun? what makes them really tick or un-tick into this lifestyle? I guess it's the multi-million dollar question...and who solves this riddle could very well become an instant millionaire (as the guy who invented Viagra, i guess)
Some males say it's the , some say it's religious morality, some say it's fear of meeting people they know, some say it's fear of unwanted diseases, some say it's work & financial tensions, sadness/depression that reduces sexual desires in females..... the reasons are extremely varied i have observed.
Some females i have asked say that after the second glass of wine everything seems ok!! so I ask myself is it the nerves? fear of performing in front of others? I am aware that this issue effects males more...the fear of performing or non-performing when in front of others! I have seen it and also experienced it myself. while it's not so nice to go through it, one must also accept it as a normal thing that could happen due to tiredness, excessive alcohol and or self-confidence.
All these issues boil down to alot of males contacting me to ask advise how to get thier partner love sex and predominantly swinging. I am no authority in such a field but this underlines to me that many are sexually unhappy and many need sexual education as a couple if they want to survive together.

Currently, due to the current economic situation in Malta alot of Italians and Spanish are moving here to work & play!
When they try to find some kind of naughty swinging activity it's not always very clear nor easy to find....but don't get disillusioned. it exists!
TIPS TO FOREIGNERS LIVING IN MALTA
1 - Don't expect swinger clubs! Only one club existed which did not survive much as the local swinger community is very small most couples are too shy or too secretive!
2 - Don't expect flamboyant and openness, not even online.
This is because Malta is small and nearly everybody knows everyone else...so it's not the first time i had to encounter a relative or an ex-employee at a sex party or social.
3 - Don't expect face photos or real names on profiles (considered to be too revealing and insecure)
4 - In gatherings most couples won't make the first move! they are mainly reserved and shy especially in groups.
5 - There is a huge number of married males who cheat mainly because they simply need more sex.
6 - Soliciting sex publicly is illegal. no advertising is allowed.
7 - Official Nude beaches don't exist. ... but some 4 known nudists zones are popular with a small number of couples and males. Still illegal but frequented just the same.
8 - Generally speaking the most active and sexually open Maltese are those who are less than 30yrs of age as they have been brought up in a more liberal society. Less chances are with older couples as they tend to be more religiously conscious (although not the majority anymore)
9 - There are at least 3 swinger groups in Malta. try to make contact and have fun!
10 - Events are not that frequent. It would be best to pre-plan meetings at least 3 weeks before....especially if you're going to Malta for the first time.
