Hope all had a great summer and are, like us, looking forward to the fall. Cooler days and nights, Deer hunting, Fall bass fishing and holidays with friends and loved ones. We in our family have always been pretty open about who and what we were so we do not need to hide things from people we are close to and family members .
I get told alot and sometimes asked "Your so lucky that you and your husband found each other and know you are both bi and poly and accept each other and like it. I wish I could be that way with my Partner , spouse etc."
There is a easy answer and to why I found my great love and best friend. We were honest about everything from day one on. We both had decided separately before we met that we were just going to tell anyone we were romantically meeting and if they freaked out or no longer had a interest in pursuing a relationship that was fine.
It's a big mistake many make trying to be someone they are not or selling themselves to a prospective partner. Because if it turns into something more than just a fun night your foundation for your relationship is built on a lie and that is no foundation at all and will lead to certain failure. You may not know that people are attracted to people who are interested in them not people who tell their life story or talk about all the great things they have done or have in their life. So be proud of your sexuality and your life no matter what it is and be honest.
Many times in our lifestyle experiance we have been but do not do it any longer with a couple where the female is bi and the male is not and so many times a few days after that play the guy would show up at the door when my husband was home alone and say "hey I wanted to let you know I am bi but I can not play that way in front of or tell my wife she would freak out."
My husband many times would ask why do you think that and sometimes it was" I just do most women do like it." Wow thats bullshit lets just get that out there many and more than you think like me think it;s the hottest thing on the planet.
Or I have approached it by saying what do you think of that and she said "oh no that is not cool I would hate that" or "I know she would freak." Secret number two boys, men over many generations have taught a lot of women to say what we think you want to hear and not what we really think..... But I hope and think that is less and less as we should all be honest and independent and share our thoughts truthfully as women because they are valid and important and men's fragile ego's be damned.
We are witches my husband and I and yes here in the south we are the trifecta of evil Bisexual, polyamorous, witches...But we believe "when a person lies a piece of the world dies" and I assure you your relationship will and if you are honest many doors open to all things you wish to experience for if no one knows what you are looking to experience then how can you find someone who is like minded....
Be good to one another and be kind to some one today......Karen

This election is more important than you think and if you are living a alternative lifestyle such as swinging, BDSM, polyamory or are a member LBGT community. This election may be the most important one yet. When Gorge W Bush was elected he got there with big help from the evangelical community. When he picked Attorney General John Ashcroft as a little pay back to that community. He ordered the statues in the justice department covered because he didn't like being photographed in front of them. After the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, Ashcroft had been photographed several times in front of the female statue that represents the Spirit of Justice. The 10- to 12-foot statue has its arms raised and a toga draped over its body, but a single breast is completely exposed. Then he started chasing porn makers and gay adoption and just about every life style we are all involved in.
Attorney General Ashcroft was backed and very close to the Concerned Women for America CWA which has lobbied against the Freedom of Choice Act and gay rights legislation in many states. CWA fights against sex education curricula that is not completely abstinence based and opposes anti-drug and alcohol abuse programs that emphasize self-esteem. CWA has been active in the fight against using Harry Potter books in schools. Publications such as "Harry Potter: Seduction of the Occult" claim that the books promote the practice of witchcraft among . CWA's anti-gay work covers many issues, from supporting the Boy Scouts of America ban against gay participants, to opposing any openly gay people in President Bush's administration. CWA has been active in opposing any and all gay and lesbian civil rights measures, including supporting the right to discriminate against gays and lesbians in employment. During John Ashcroft's confirmation hearings in the Senate, CWA and many other "pro-family" groups held a press conference of conservative women leaders, which they claim resulted in 13,000 e-mails to senators, phone calls from members, hand-deliver information to senators and appeared on several major news networks. CWA called Ashcroft's critics "anti-religionists." The CWA has lobbied to de-fund the National Endowment for the Arts. In 2002, CWA vehemently opposed ratification of CEDAW (the United Nation's Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women), claiming its pro-women empowerment and equality sections comprised a "leftist utopian wish list." The Convention, which opposes the discrimination or subordination of women across the globe. They have harassed people in the BDSM and swinger community's and showed up secretly to take pictures of people attending these lifestyle conventions trying to out them to the employers, x-spouses and people who could cause problems in their lives and their lively hoods and they had the ear of a radical religious attorney general and that gave them the freedom to persecute people. When maybe after the attacks on our country and New York city you would think peoples sexual lifestyle and porn makers would take a back seat to finding and punishing the perpetrators of these attacks..
So if you think the election of a president has no real affect on you, you could not be more wrong. Right now you have a choice between a bigoted, racist, megalomaniac who if elected would own some crazy right wing evangelicals a lot of pay back or anyone else. Keep your lifestyle free without fear, many of us are open and out and we have fought so all can live the way they chose and live the life they were born to live. Do not take a risk at setting us all back years and sending us back to the shadows out of fear of retribution that none of us should ever have to deal with..Our nation is built on a simple idea that a liberty given to one must be given to all!......BnK

You may not have been born special like bi and gay and kinky people are! You may not like what we do or how out front some of us are or how forward. Personally we have made some not happy people when we say things like “ we are a both bi couple and we do not defer to the straight person in the room as if they are a supervisory sexuality.” or “ Bisexuality is a birth right not given to all!”
I guess what it comes down to is how your were born should never be a death sentence.....Kissing someone in public should never cause rage so bad that people get killed. We now have started kissing people we love and friends and anyone who wants to be kissed in public no matter what sex or age or sexuality or faith or color...Right on the mouth! If you see us out and about come up and say kiss me and we both will.... Until the ugly head of the monster that is bigotry and racism and sexism is dead never to be seen again...you don't have to like what we are or do but you will tolerate it. That's what America is about...Its what my father and several of our fought for and so many have died for....Play safe have fun...BnK
