It’s a cool clear night
As the new year starts
And the moon is shining full
Come stand in the window
Wrapped in my arms
Feel this orb’s powerful pull

Shall we step outside

A new year is beginning

Now my second life is over
I thought it just begun
But it has come to my attention
I just might not be done
My world has changed completely
Not really so sure why
The million tears I shed are gone
My eyes are now quite dry
Something happened deep in side me
Just the other day
A bit of inner sunshine
Drove the empty darkness away
The best part of me missing
Never to be replaced

Where once a gorgeous blossom thrived
A barren stem now stands
Reminding me of sunny days gone by
Loving times I let slip thru my hands
But as that sweet scented flower passed
It did as such flowers always do
Gently dropping a solitaire seed inside
Wrapped safely in fond memories of you
This seed has fallen silently dormant
Deep into the bottom of my heart
Leaving me not quite all so certain
Why it is that I know we must part
Although cold lost and lonely now
I realize that it must be this way
Still dreams of you often drift thru my mind

Guess its about time to try to figure this all out.
