Profile tuns into novel....Character limit please!!

Our couples profile is longer than I like but is the bare minimum to cover our bases...who we are, what we like, etc. But then we run across others that put ours to shame and are so ridiculously long you simply skip the profile. Do some people really think people come here to read short novels? I guess if you want to attract someone that loves to read and that's your only requirement, then the prolonged profiles make sense. HotMatch.com should really consider a realistic character limit in profiles. It would provide people determined to put their autobiography into their profiles some kind of limita and encourage them to be more creative in saying more with less and maybe encourage others that don't want the short stories to give the poster a second look.

Have you ever run across a profile that goes on and on and on for pretty much the max characters a profile can have and it starts out "if you don't read our whole profile then move on" or something like that? Do you ever read through one of those if the pics look interesting or pass regardless of how the person or persons might appeal? When I see something that takes the entire profile page I get more than a little turned-off but maybe some of you enjoy the novel length reads?

Cancun Swinger resorts

Temptation in Cancun and Desire down the road in Puerto Moreles (sp?) seem like two lively swinger friendly resorts. Anyone with experience visiting either or both? Desire looks to be more of the complete resort to spend most of our 8 days on-site in August (humidity fest but it's a quick planned vaca). Temptation seems smaller and I'm not sure if we would want to spend most all of our time there on-site though we like the fact it does cost less so if we want to get out and take a ferry to quiet Isla Mujeres which we love, it becomes a reasonable option but we want to spend most of our time drinking and having fun with others. Let us know your opinions. Thanks.

Single guys, no respect?

My wife and I post for couples and single women and it's hard to be more clear in our profile we aren't interested in single men yet we seem to constantly get messages and flirts from them. This seems to be a problem with many other couples who feel compelled to stress usually in all caps NO SINGLE MEN, etc. in their profiles. To us it's disrespect when we don't request communication from a certain demographic like single men yet they feel messaging us will make us change our minds? I haven't been single for a while but "no" always means "no" in the dating scene and I would never try to foist myself on someone that I knew I wasn't their cup of tea and that's really easy to filter here on HotMatch.com. There were always plenty more around where I was more to their liking so I don't understand the desperation some of these guys exhibit. Hmmmm, let me toss on a cowboy hat, show you some genital pics and say something about how I like being with couples, really? That would be like me trying to message a woman that makes it clear they want to meet single Asian guys over 6'4"....it's not me and I'm not going to be rude and waste that persons time. Just like single women or men, couples know what they want and people need to respect that and move on to more worthwhile pursuits.
