At this point in time I've been through two surgeries...the clasic release for carpel tunnel / impinged ulnar nerve at the wrist. The second was a seven point release at the elbow. After the seven point release. After each surgery I went through five months of physical therapy.

I just heard that Maddox is doinf a little better; they have removed two of his IV's and he has been having a teaspoon of breast milk every two to three hours. This first breast milk will give him all of the initial antibodies he'll need

I still have no feeling in my left hand...I guess I'll just have to deal with it for the rest of my life. Along with all of the other frustrations.
I just got back from Virginia and I haven't had a great deal of time to read any mail or respond to messages for the last two months. My youngest has been ill during her first pregnancy (Pre-eclampsia) and has given me my newest grandson.

"Maddox George Delmar Newman"

He was born on Valentines day - eight weeks early - 3 pounds and 7 ounces - 17.25 inches long.

If all goes well it will be at least a month before he can come home. At least he is in a good hospital, the Maternity ward delivers over 250 infants per month...I've been told that they are the best. I may not have a great deal of time for the next couple of months.

I guess it had to end...about 13 months ago, I woke up and my left hand was numb. My primary physician said, "Don't worry, you're fine. You have not had a stroke or anything like that; it's just an impinged ulnar nerve and an easy fix. You will have a scar about two centimeters long.” She referred me to the orthopedic group at the same hospital where she is.
The doctor she sent me to did a nerve study and said that I had mild Carpel Tunnel syndrome and he gave me a brace to wear. I asked if it would take care of the numbness and he said that it would. I wore it for four months with no improvement. I returned and complained. He did a second nerve study and said that the Carpel Tunnel had improved but he could not do anything about the Ulnar nerve…”I’m not a surgeon.” He sent me to the doctor in the office next to him and that doctor said that he could take care of it and would release the Ulnar nerve and the Carpel Tunnel at the same time. He scheduled me for surgery the next Tuesday.

I went through five months of physical therapy / rehabilitation and had to wear a partial brace as well as a splint while I slept. I came back from a job in Tennessee and still had no feeling in my hand. SO…I went back and complained. He did a third nerve study and they go no conductivity across the elbow. My surgeon said that he wanted me to try some “Drugs” for a month or two before he considered more surgery. I said that I did not think so and that I wanted my records.
I went to a local sports medicine group…they are good. There were autographed photos from Brett Favre thanking the doctors, etc. My doctor there said that he would do a seven-point release across the elbow and scheduled me for surgery the following week.

He said that when he accessed the nerve “It looked pretty necrotic.” That was not a good thing to hear. Five more months of physical therapy / rehab; I still have no feeling in my hand and have less than half the strength in it that I used to have.

I’m pissed!!!!

I’ve fallen in lust!
Just to follow up…my fears were unfounded; even given my age.
This will be very brief.
We met; had a light dinner and a couple of drinks. Then we went to her place, very comfortable. We engaged in a lot of …well, let’s call it tasting and touching, the Hor’Douvres so to speak.
Phenomenal!
Needless to say we copulated. Not once but twice…she blew it back up for round two.
I was then lying on my back, holding her in my arms and fell asleep, as is often the case. I had the most vivid sensual, erotic dream that I can ever remember…I awoke with her astride me, for round three!
Without a doubt, one of the most pleasurable and exhilarating encounters of my life.
Like I said…I’ve fallen in lust. Again!

Aging/Age differences

I look at all of the profiles here on AM and see all of these beautiful women looking for sex and I’ve found the idea of having sex with a much younger woman very enticing…I guess it is just the lecher in me. Of course, there has been some trepidation on my part in respect to that.
Then I remember my encounters with older women…my first was when I was 18 years old; she was twenty-six. When you are 18; eight years is a big difference but the things I learned were phenomenal. My next encounter was when I was twenty-five; she was a co-worker and was fifty-six. That is a big difference in age and she was insatiable in bed. Now I have been contacted by a very beautiful young lady (just for sex) and the concern has returned.
