today is june 11 and just got back from hospital the surgery is done and i now have a total replacement shoulder. have no idea if it will give the pain free living and mobility i want. the dr said all went well and he was surprised how big my bone spur was, his word were huge?, so now i take my pain pills and go back thur or fri next to have the staples removed and then will probally start therapy to finish the rehab. well time will tell i guess ......... later

well it's almost summertime and i went to drs and have a tenative surgery date of june 10 for shoulder replacement. now i have a month to wait and scare myself silly about all that can go wrong with this surgery. the pain is getting to the point that it is retricting a lot that i can do, such as buckle my pants belt and zip my zipper feels like someone sticking a knitting needle in my shoulder and down into my arm when i do that. so i really dont have much choice but will still worry until i am sure i have most of my arm and shoulder function back. i'm not worried about being able to lift the arm straight up i just want to be able to dress and take care of myself and also be able to do my 2 favorite activites, which are bowl and hunt and maybe a little sex now and then would be nice but hey cant be greedy. so now i just wait and drive myself crazy thinking about what could go wrong, of course i would never stay with the positive just not my style. well good luck all in case i dont get to see you all again .........

want to wish all a happy new year and hope you have a safe and prosperous new year and get the wishes that you want. as for myself have a lot of wishes that i want but will definatley settle for painfree days and nights and the abilty to do the 2 activities that i enjoy and no sex is not one of them sadly enough ...... they are bowling and hunting which i really havent done since the beginning of october. good luck to all .......

just wanted to wish everyone that reads this a merry christmas and happy new year (to hell with political correctness .. lol) and hope you all have a great time with friends and family and also a safe one.
as for me i am back to work making people happy fixing and installing their dsl with a few minor restrictions still, nothing over 15 lbs which means no ladders and no climbing, but i am being productive while i wait to see what the ole employer will do with me over time. sure i ache and the shoulder is still acting up but i probally will survive. someday i may even be able to bowl but as of today not yet but it crosses my mind ......... well merry christmas all take care

well this year gets even better .......... injured right shoulder at work on friday been on light duty all this week (not allowed to do anything with right arm) and ortho surgeon called and wants to move surgery to this thur the 25 of oct so i have 2 more days of work then off for 2 or 3 months. no time to think about it now ......... hope i can use crutches with one arm .........lol

well it's friday again and it has been a long hot week. no days off and none this weekend again, figure i better grab the cash cow while she is still giving milk. lol well since i am working so much it's pretty obvious i am not doing much else, but i do have a movie scheduled for tuesday, of course the show starts at midnight and it is a tradition with , i'm going to see the next harry potter movie (now you have to remember the is 19, so it's not like i have to go) she asked so of course i will go. now to make sure i survive i scheduled a vacation day for next wednesday since movie wont let out till close to 2:30 or 3 am so i will finally get my day off ........ yippee ........ well anyone want to chat or comment you know what to do ....... later all ........... dave

today had to be one of the hottest days this year, well either that or the fact that i never went in anyones house today just made it seem that way. spent the whole day out in the sun, by the time i got home, and i quit early just couldnt do a 12 hour day today, my skin felt so hot that a very cool shower felt really good. anyways i just wanted to say that i had a good time at the picnic just chatting away with good company on a very nice but muggy day. shy, dizzy, and dennis and i just shot the breeze for quite a while and i had some conversations with a few others, all in all not a bad day with good food and drinks (i'm talking gatorade .....lmao). hopefully we can keep it going and enjoy the times.
