Hello all I am currently in the beginning stages of a divorce and what I have come to realize is that it was an abusive marriage for 9 years, I am not the same man I was when I met her my confidence level is close to none and every time I think about going out on a date or hook up I panic or shut down. Has anyone else been in this situation? How did you overcome it?

I have been in a sexless relationship for going on over six years now, at first it was health issues on her part which I totally understood and then she just kept saying she just isn't interested in sex anymore, I have tried to talk with her and see if I could help and try and help her get in the mood, I have tried to wine her and dine her, give massages and when it comes down to it nothing has worked and I am going fracking insane! She always says I have hands take care of it myself and that is just not working anymore. So if any of you were in my situation where you cannot leave and dealing with this what would you do??/
