Well here I am, a year later and with this entry I have compleated all of the requirements for an additional six months of GOLD member status!
WEEEEEE
I will put it to good use being bad... lol
I haven't been as permiscuous as I would have liked... but there is an up side to that... LOL
I look forward to at least another six months of fun!

So someone at work, after seeing a flirting with me, said I have to check 'missed connections' on craigslist to see if she liked me... (little thing called professionalism kept me from pursuing an email or number).
I was curious, first I thought that site had colapsed after that cereal killer in the states made all those headlines years ago.
Second, hmmm who else might I have missed on that...LOL
I was amused/disturbed to see the collection of stalkers and weirdos there.
There is one guy always posting (weekly) for 'My Little Cesears crush' WOW this guy is delusional... sounds like he scared the girl away from her job and he is still obsessing about her months later.
And if you ever dare make eyecontact on the subway/metro/streetcar in your city, chances are you will have that person posting there for you.
YIKES!
Now I imagine in some situations it can be quite helpful...
But screen the stalker factor first!

I met someone two weeks ago...
And she was easily 15 years older than her photo... but I didn't say anything as I was being polite.
As it turns out, neither felt any sparks as we chatted over our drinks. And we parted with a polite exchange and that was all.
As it turns out, I get a message a few days later, saying she thinks I am a good fit for a friend of her's and was wondering if she could introduce us...
The moral of the story?
Not all meetings are gems but if you are genuine and polite... it may open other doors for you.

Alright. Whether you have paid or work a standard membership... you get out of it what you put into it.
Yes you get more details and get to message people with paid more... but you still have to work at it. there are people out there who get flooded with mail and may miss out on the great catch you are (like me! lol)
The thing is to not give up. Yah, you may think that ONE profile is THE one... but really... if they don't reply, move on.
Seems like common sense to me but it sounds like some people just don't get that.

Alright, so a paid membership does work.
The statistical odds of using a couple of points to score a meeting between two "standard" members are a little too poor. It can and does happen, but the odds of being successful really do go up if you buy a membership.
There... I gave a plug for paid memberships.

I tend to take this blog stuff semi-seriously.
I mean, if I have to do this each month to get the extension on my gold membership, it might as well be interesting right?
So the other day I was in the car and thought, "OH, THAT is what I will put on my blog this month........."
Do you think I can remember what it was now?
So this month's blog is actually about the human brain vs. hands-on-the-wheel laws getting in the way of my HotMatch.com blog brainstorming.... LOL
Damn those safety laws! Don't they know I too busy trying to earn a membership extension so I can get LAID!!!!????!!! LOL 
Priorities man.... I tell ya....

Alright... I guess there really IS "one born every minute" or else there wouldn't be so many fake profiles online!
Let's look at this rationally. Do you REALLY think that this crazy hot member of the opposite sex, with only ONE very professionaly done photo on their profile, who names your city but gets the state/province wrong and a million other glaring errors is really that into you? Or your money?
If I want to hook up with a , I won't pay for a membership here to meet you, there are other FREE ways to do the research! Besides, that would save the money for the 'business'....lol
Or any stupid scam asking me to send money ANYWHERE.... seriously people?

There are two rather hot women at my work... they regularly wear very high ("stripper") platform heels, short skirts, low cut tops showing a lot of breasts...
One wears this in the form of a short skirted business outfit that is so professionally sexy it hurts!
I am sorry, but I shouldn't get into trouble for starring at them. It sure makes for a nice work environment but political correctness is screaming in the back of my head to not leer at them...
But I can't help it... arrrrrrg!

Alright, I have been checking out this place for a bit now and I seem to keep getting suggestions ( REALLY GOOD ONES TOO! ) for people in Hamilton and Ottawa... the only bad part is I am not exactly clost to either place.
Is there just THAT MANY more people who fit what I am looking for in those two cities (over where I am - in between them) or do the people who run this site not realize the distance issues here?
Just wondering...LOL
