i spent an evening chatting - something i haven't done for quite a while. in the basement, with all the other people who are into BDSM.. at first there were only new folks but it was interesting. then my friends started to show up and well,it was wonderful, a full, silly and glorious chat.

so.......if you think chatting sucks. why?

if you like it, why?

more importantly, if you have someone who you chat with all the time......have you met them RT?

 I chat more during the week when MB is gone. if he is home, I rarely touch the computer. I use it to reach out and touch people when the one I want to touch is unavailable.
Now as to you subject matter. I only have one friend I chat with about my BDSM Dom/sub lifestyle. I hint to others but most get that silly cartoon idea in their heads. It is nice to talk with someone who "gets it".

 I enjoy it...I like group conversations, they seem more fun to me than chatting with someone one on one on a messenger program - although I will do that, from time to time.

I do have to get better at just leaving, if I come in and there's no one interesting or it's moving really slow. I have a tendency to just stare at the screen out of inertia, which can be an enormous time waster!

 WE, I've only had one-on-one chatting experience via IM and texting. I've never had a manage trois chat experience or a group sex chat experience, but I'm game! I've never gone into one of those chatrooms. Seems kinda seedy to me. On the otherhand, I have gone into seedy bars on the outskirts of small seedy towns so I really shouldn't look down my nose at chatrooms I suppose.
