Christmas season

I have not added a post for a little over a week now and I am almost struggling to do so now. I have read many posts about Christmas and the holiday season. I guess that I am just having a hard time finding my meaning.

I generally love people and I love what they can bring into the world. I love the divergent beliefs. I love just the idea of different viewpoints.

What has gotten me into a run is the lack of regard for other people. I was shopping a week ago. There were many people about around. It was a very busy day for this retailor. I was looking for gifts for my mother, I already had a few in my cart but was looking for that perfect one. The one that would balance them all out and maybe get a smile.

Well I found what I wanted and went back to my cart at the end of the isle only to find that my cart wasn't there anymore. No instead all of the stuff I had picked out over the last hour was laying in a pile on the floor. The card I had spent so much time picking to express what I wanted to say, had a shoe print on the cover. The love I wanted to give was tarnished.

Has the season really come to this? I have hated the lines for to many years, I know we all do. But has it become so bad that we will intentionally make it harder for our fellows to achieve their Christmas cheer? When did so many of us stop caring for the real meaning? I will be the first to admit that I have often chose the other door of the bell ringer. Does that mean we all have to be less civil to one and all?

I am sorry for this rant but I have bottled this up for over a week now with the hope that my fellow man would alleviate the mood but so far I have found it lacking with my general populace.

I hope you all have a merry Christmas and am sorry for bringing the mood down a bit.

Don't let a few bad apples spoil the season for you. There are many more stories of good will and cheer out there.....

Well that absolutely sucks. I've what shopping I do, most of it is online and some years I go to outlets to stock up and make gift baskets.

Hold on to this, the reason this sort of thing is so distressing is because most people are basically decent and pleasant. The assholes stand out like turds among diamonds.

I worked retail for over 15 years and as far as I ma concerned, the customers/public get worse!!!And to some extent cell phones have contributed to this demise. I do not shop after Halloween and have not for years. I shop all year long. when I find something special, I put a note on it when I get home as to the person I got it for.
Than the second week of November I have a wrapping spree and I love it
