'Fake/Scam' Profiles 101 -- Spam Scammers

In my Blog post from yesterday, one of my responses to fellow fake/scam profile 'hunter' sphxdiver, I briefly detailed several of the fake/scam 'SPAM SCAMMERS' profiles that I had seen and reported on a daily basis for a few months this past Spring and Summer ... but, that I hadn't seen active for some time now.

Well, lo and behold ... today, one of them was back!



This one always goes by "eatmelikeapie ###' with various after the name, although it has used other names in the past, is always 48 to 50 years old, hails from various geographical locations like:

Simpsonville, SC

Rochester, NH

Harvey, LA

Ann Arbor, MI

as well as some Canadian locations in the past, and, basically posts the same narrative on the profile's Introduction:

dont waste my time and i dont like B.S if you want to talk message me there xxxxxxxx## at g meyl dot com or drop yours ill respond to you later

These Spam Scammers are pretty regular on the site's Newest Matches link almost every day, and even though the pictures don't show up when using Google Chrome or Tineye, they are easily recognizable regardless of the different poses.

Another of today's example of Spam Scamming is this one::



This one went by " Soulmate ### ", was 28 years old in all of them, had the same profile Introduction narrative::

" I am adult and quite mature woman for my age. I know what I want from my life and I always get it Now I only need to find s... "

and purported the following different geographical locations::

Los Angeles, CA

Blacklick, OH

Miami, FL

Sometimes I've seen only one fake/scam Spam Scam profile using a VERY recognizable picture of a woman posted in a 24 hour period, and at times the of profiles posted on a single day will reach 30!

The question remains, in my mind ... why do they do it?

I can understand the ones like 'eatmelikeapie' doing so to scam some poor naive 'sucker' out of his personal information or money, but why does the author of someone like 'Soulmate' do so?

With no contact information given, there's a reduced chance that anyone will use the site's IM or email to contact them. So again, why do they do it?

Yes, I know it's a rhetorical question that everyone's unique imagination can probably come up with different reasons for ... and I really don't want to hear them. *LOL*

For whatever their reasonings, please keep these fake/scam 'Spam Scam' profiles in mind when you may be looking, and/or are contacted by them.:

Unfortunately, I haven't detailed ALL of them, and with the new schemes they keep coming up with I doubt if anyone ever will!

I tend to pass over and ignore the Pacific Rim profiles from China, Japan, the Philippines and Southeast Asia because the majority of them (not all) are fake/scam profiles using pictures from Asian porn sites.

Unless you have a 'thing' for these women, I'd recommend that you just Delete them as you receive them.

The first two you listed are fake/scam profiles using pictures from porn sites and have been reported, but I couldn't find anything wrong with the third one.

 The bastards are after any sort of OFF SITE INFORMATION, they can get.

Be it an e-mail address, phone number from texting, etc, etc.

Guess there's people on this site have never heard of IDENTITY THEFT before.

In my state, there's 12 less of them as of this writing too.

More to be removed later !!!

 Actually today, the over 50 age photos on here, was the most I've seen in sometime now, damn near every uploaded new photos was a fake.

On top of the usual bunch of fakes, the FULL NAME, FOLLOWED BY A 2 DIGIT NUMBER, have also increased too.
All ages 19 to 24.

Page after page, even noticed profiles from Ghana too, that country had been banned from site use some years back, because of all the fakes coming out of there.

THEY'RE BACK !!!

Yes, the multiple fake/scam SPAM SCAM profiles of "Goodkisser" were in abundance today. During this past Spring and Summer, those and "eatmelikeapie" together would total about 50 per day.

 Must be a lull today, none of the 19 to 24 year old fake profiles appeared.

Guess even scammers need a day off too.

Plenty of others, only busted 4 today so far, but lots to choose from though.

Page after page on the newly uploaded photos--ages 18 to 36, tons of fake, sad thing is, you can go through 15 pages, and count the real profiles on one hand !!!
