I see that other people are getting the same message over and over, several times a day. Please feel free to read my blog at Losnewf Thoughts

Well I haven't had a hundred but a bunch for sure. I guess they just want to keep us entertained. There you go That's all and none of it tragic.

Way to many of the same. Talk about spam mail. This site takes the biscuit.

I feel left out, I've only got four today. Though I believe the site is going through many transitions if the noticeable changes and quirks are anything to go by, hopefully all for the better. The oddest thing yesterday was seeing people apparently logged into IM or visiting my profile where it says on their profile the last time they logged in was days ago. I've decided instead of getting too annoyed is to just let them know there's a bug and to date, have found them mostly responsive if also a little quirky in their customer support.

Annoying! I can't get messages from others, but those messages come right through by the hundreds. WTF? I keep marking them as SPAM... Rachel Mae

That is correct. I mark them as spam before deleting. If they want to spam us we can spam back. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I just stopped going to my message center. I never get any real mail anyway so I'm not in the least curious who might be trying to contact me. Not only that, but I can't read emails anyway as a standard, lol. Woodrow J. Evers

Previously I was deleting the Contest Message only for it to come back immediately so I tried not deleting it and to date, no more repeat messages. However, I forgot I'd decided to leave it cluttering up my inbox during my usual clean up today and deleted the old message .... guess what happened next? That's right, HotMatch.com sent me a replacement. So, I suggest you don't delete the message (for now) and see if it stops the repetition. Not ideal but the least annoying workaround imo.

sigh get all excited to see that yellow flag on my page.... but no.... its the same old message... over and over...and over

I take back what I said last time as I got another four in a row last night. Not only that other weird things are happening and it seems to be getting worse. HotMatch.com support have given me good standard advice which assumes my system/browser is at fault - clear cache and cookies etc - but that's really taking a stab in the dark and doesn't explain the problems others are having. As such, perhaps we can pool our issues to get a bigger picture of what's occuring and where? ie, I stated already I noticed people being "online" yet their profile pages show they haven't logged in for many days. Yesterday, I got friend requests I couldn't accept. None of the buttons or links on my Friend's Network page worked such as "Accept Friend" or "View More" or "Friends Posts" etc. Today I got a message telling me a user (who I've never heard of) has accepted my Friend Request (which I never sent). Of course, the option to "Unfriend" this account doesn't work either.

I raised two tickets with CS, one for the Halloween spam and other for the non-working Friends Network page. The latter has been rectified and, so far, no more Halloween messages. Credit to HotMatch.com CS, they do respond well to these issues.
