The Myth and Reality of Being a Unicorn

Here's the myth: unicorns are beautiful, young maidens waiting for someone to awaken their sexual desires. They are playful innocent virgins who know little about the world. Unicorns will drop everything to run and meet someone new. They love sex and therefore will fuck just about anyone.

These are some of the misconceptions I have heard or read about women in the lifestyle. Here's the reality: unicorns are human. Most unicorns have a job and the jobs they have aren't all glamorous. Some unicorns have at home. They have homes to clean, laundry to do and dishes to wash. Not all unicorns are petite, 20 something year olds. I have yet to meet a unicorn that was a virgin when she entered the lifestyle. Some unicorns are looking for playmates they can meet with regularly while others won't play with the same people more than once or twice. Unicorns come in all shapes, sizes, ages, races and backgrounds. A unicorn never has the time to do all she wants to do because there is always something that she has to do to be a responsible adult.

Unicorns are rare in the lifestyle. They are complicated women with often complicated lives. When they do have time to play they try to block out the world and become the myth for a few hours. At least I do.
Sometimes I want to be a naive young woman and sometimes I want to be a slut, but I always want to be treated with respect.

 Thanks Ann. It's surprising how many myths and misconceptions circulate about all sorts of people...which, ironically, seems to be the primary reason for and the underlying frustration of fantasy fulfillment.
