Why is finding a casual sex buddy so hard

Chatting on here and showing myself is so easy but when it comes to meet in person i always back out. Ill even get dressed and go to meeting place but will hide myself from that person. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else and how you deal with it.

 I've been stood up a couple of times but I've never not met with a "date." How much time do you spend getting to know them online first? Perhaps you just need to be more familiar with them to find the comfort.

 I have actually never walked away from a date, but that you feel a little bit nervous and outside your comfort zone I guess is pretty normal - meeting someone you have never meet before.

But I guess my advise would be - take it easy, nobody can expect more than a meet and greet - if something else comes out of it, awesome - and if not, then you have a the privilige to spend some time with a stranger and a look into an other person world, and maybe even a reflection of you own. Can't be that vad

 Maybe we can feel as though we won't measure up to what others are expecting in person, just got to take the leap and go with it
