Shower Sex?

What's the deal with shower sex? I love sex...but how did sex in the shower become so necessary. It's like someone said lets pick the most dangerous place in the house to have sex. Is it just me that thinks two people thrusting against each other in a place infamous for the dislocation of joints is not sexy.

 If you have a large shower stall with built in bench is good, but after sex washing each other down slow and massaging each other is just as good and safer.

Better if the woman is tall, easier access for the boner to get in. No lifting or squatting required.

 I don't think its necessary the location for sex. What I do enjoy is the sensuality that leads up to it. Wet skin on skin and washing each other. With all that going on its pretty inevitable.
