I don't want to feel
These feelings
For they have
Nowhere to go
There is no outlet.

Unrequited love
Is painful
But is it necessary
To get over it
And let it go before
It eats away
At your soul.

I am being vague
Because it happens
Time and time again.
Just when I think
I am over a man
Another comes along
Wrecking havoc
With my equilibrium.
Those loving feelings
Reemerge
With a new subject
Ever hopeful
That this
Will be different
And my love
Will be returned.
But that proves
My wishful thinking
Wrong once again.
