Addendum to 50
Addendum to 50 This post is in conjunction with CalypsoFlame's post titled Around '50... . I wanted to leave a comment but it ended up being a bit too long so I figured I make my own post in concert with hers....more 'blogsex' if you will A woman I was seeing for quite a while was studying Psychology to become a MFT. I learned quite a bit while we were together Something I realized one time initiated a discussion between us. The "decline" of a man's erectile function over time. I summarized a man's boner gets less and less strong over time due to abuse. Yes, abuse. After 35 years or so of being abused the muscle tissues become degraded and do not work as thoroughly as they used to, especially that small part which keeps the blood infused within the hard-on. Seriously, 35 years of holding the dam in place can take it's toll, yes? Sex was not meant to be pleasure, it was intended for procreation, period. She agreed and added her observations about wood in that a young man's erection will point in an upward direction while an older man's stiffy barely points straight out Another aspect about this scene I realized: Women's orgasms, seemingly far and few between according to a lot of gripes and complaints, are another thing to be considered as a side effect of sex. Again, sex is for procreation, not pleasure, so a woman having an orgasm is irrelevant. I can hear it already, hush up out there On the grand scale of human evolution these things I am discussing started a very long time ago, long before humans discovered sex can be fun Yet another excuse...err, I mean aspect of this: It could be said that a man's premature ejaculation is purely a natural occurrence as well. Remember, sex is for procreation, not pleasure. A man is supposed to get hard, jam it in a few times to blow his nut and impregnate the woman. That's all, end of story. Somewhere along the timeline humans discovered sex can be fun so why not make it last longer, try different things and make it one of the best experiences a person can have. Maybe these things are why older women crave younger guys and vice versa...a woman's sex drive has matured and she knows what she wants and the young man who points to the heavens has what she wants This may also explain why an older man's drive has lessened... he's created his family and now there's no need to further his bloodline so the drive isn't there as much as it used to be, in conjunction with the years of abuse the cock says 'fuck you, I'm tired and LEAVE ME ALONE!!' P.S. The clit becomes 7 times larger??? I wonder if this is an evolutionary product....men always seem to have trouble finding it so the woman's body makes it grow, thus it's easier to find Everyone is on a different plane of intelligence. Some people's plane has not taken off yet!! |

I must be out of the norm, because I'm not interested in a man younger than myself. I want someone with which I have things in common, that's why I think it's much more important, as we grow older, for sex being a part of a relationship, and not the only things between the two. I don't know where she learn about the clit becoming 7 times larger, or just larger, because these are the common yes of going thru menopause or being post menopausal, which means a very low estrogen in the body, that cause a very common issue among women, inverted clit, it goes to the inside of the body, it still work and all, but it's not has visible as it was before........it kinda play peek-a-boo WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

I won't dispute that sex is primarily about reproduction biologically. But it isn't the first time I've heard it posited that early humans (and other animals as well) do not enjoy sex, i.e., don't see it as fun. This is why they do it- it feels good! Many less technologically advanced cultures have very different ideas about reproduction than we do. Certain South American tribes believe in partible paternity. They conceive that a fetus is made up of an accumulation of sperm, and so the female has sex with many of the men in the tribe, choosing the best hunter she can, the best gatherer, the best fisherman and so on. She wants the best sperm she can acquire for her child. When enough semen has been collected, a baby begins to grow, and his fathers are literally everyone the woman has had sex with in "building" the baby. After the child is born he is seen as having many fathers, and the care of the child is the responsibility of not only those males perceived to have fathered the child, but the whole village. So, it IS about reproduction, but the reason people do it is because it feels good. And always has. It's a mistake to attribute lack of perception and emotion to early man and to the other animals. Ethics for instance exists in other creatures besides man, and so does pleasure. They may not write poetry about it or watch porn, but they ARE having fun, in their own way. They simply don't see thing exactly the way we currently do. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

I on the other hand believe that sex was always an enjoyable thing for all humans, from caveman on. There is no way on earth orgasms ...\8 WEREN'T enjoyed by early man. We were made to enjoy sex ...otherwise orgasms would not be part of the equation. As for the age thing, working around many "older" male patients, all I can say is, use it or lose it. It is a muscle ....and like all muscles, they atrophy when not used!!!!!!! Little old men have almost NO penis left ... such a sad sight indeed!!! /8
