 People often cite teachers as influences, especially when discussing their intellectual or professional development. You've quite nicely stood that on its head and cited the men who have inspired your emotional development. Very interesting twist on a classic concept!

You are truly -- well, lucky doesn't cover it, because we make our own luck, and blessed is a little too ecumenical for me -- fortunate? Yes, fortunate to be the sort of person who would attract these inspirations to you.
