Straighten Up Area Around You Before You Take Pictures and Videos

I have noticed that there are quiet a few pictures and videos on this site where the person has not cleaned up the area around them. In the pictures and videos, you see clothes in piles on the floor, messy areas, boxes packed, furniture on top of one another, dirty linen on the beds, rooms that look like storage rooms, where the boxes have not been unpacked, in all, the surrounding areas are junky and trashy.

You need to clean it up. Make the area that you are in uncluttered and at least half way presentable. It does not take much to make the surrounding area nice.

When people look at your pictures and videos, they also look at the area that you are in and how the surrounding area looks.

 Well said. You point out our top peeve. No wait. This is worse- selfies in the bathroom, toilet in the frame. Lid and seat up. Ewww. WTF.
