As a garment with utility value, I do advocate for panties use in utilitarian situations. But in other situations when a person can have more choice I would say that in general I favor their being worn from my own personal aesthetics point of view. They provide texture and contrast both visual and tactile. However, I think that in those situations of choice, that the lady ought to wear or not wear what she finds makes her feel sexy. I always go commando myself. I am a nudist and find them restricting. I have dated a few women who would do the same. Only their reasoning would be to prevent chaffing from jeans. I think it's great if you want to! I am a guy and I quit wearing underwear in high school. I could never breath.
