Hiya Kzoo, this is your roving reporter, Kathleen here with a scoop on this dress. I posted to Spunky's blog the same time as you and the dress appeared to be blue and black around 7ish or 8ish pm. Then I go back there around 4am and the top one is blue and black and the bottom one is gold and white. Someone's been switching dresses I think... dastardly villain...invasion of the dress snatchers? Part of my comment on Spunky's page -- "Rods handle vision in low light, and cones handle color vision and detail. I am now viewing in very low light and the color appears to have changed. Stuff like this gets to me -- amazement, the wonder of us and how we, our bodies, work... What color do you see S. ? Have you tried turning the lights on or off and taking a peek?" I asked him what he sees, he didn't answer, he doesn't always answer questions, says it is an optical illusion. I think it is pretty neat and I have never noticed a dress change color like this one does. “In Sewell, I’m Kathleen, covering all the news all the time for SexyTimes, a f f and Take Two Their Small/who gives a fuck about the dress.... A specialist in optical illusions claimed that this dress is one of the most extreme in the differences of colour perception of people.

I don't look at everything that crosses my path, but optical illusion, hallucination...sure, I want to look at that. And this one was mildly interesting but not anything particularly fascinating. But real soon it got to be like a song on the radio that they've been paid to promote, and the hatred began to creep in. It's absolutely unbelievable that people can get so worked up about a trivial thing as a dress colour, the amount of people that got involved shut down the net in some areas, and that people don't get that worked up about things that matter. I can't remember the quote exactly but: Leon Trotsky was a mathematician by study and avocation and he foresaw that after the revolution the common people would be free to study fine arts and sciences. In a society of equal opportunity, it is true that fewer good minds will be wasted and they will have a chance to pursue lofty intellectual goals....but I laughed when I read it because many many people are so easily distracted by shiny jingly things. It's a card game. My mom's family is Italian and every get together was an occasion for pinochle. We were pinochle crazy. Lots of drinking and cussing and throwing down of cards. Along with beer and bagna cauda. I haven't played in a long time...you need at least three-cuthroat pinochle- but four players paired as partners is the most fun. will google it... In my family - no get together, no matter how short, is complete without a couple rounds of rummie (aka 11cards).
